MATLAMAT (GOALS) :

This course introduces students to various types of cables and terminals in electrical and electronic system, such as Visual Display
Unit. It also covers VDU calibration, specification and troubleshooting.

SINOPSIS (SYNOPSIS):

This course covered maintains cable or terminal of electrical and electronic system, maintenance Visual Display Unit and
troubleshoot faulty on electronic system. It’s also cover VDU calibration, specification and fault symptom.

HASIL PEMBELAJARAN (LEARNING OUTCOMES):

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:


1. Apply cable, terminal and Video Display Unit (VDU) assembly according to VDU requirement. (C3,PLO1).
2. Fix the faulty of Video Display Unit (VDU) in reference to manufacturer operation manual. (P3,PLO2).
3. Prepare in group the cable and terminal of Video Display Unit (VDU) for repairing procedure. (A4,PLO5).

1.1.2 Describe the characteristic according to manufacturer standard.

1.2.1 Check type of the electrical and electronic cable and terminal
according to manufacturer standard.
1.2.2 Determine electrical and electronic cable and terminal according
to manufacturer standard.
1.3 Identify of electrical and electronic cable and terminal
1.3.1 Select electrical and electronic cable and terminal according to
manufacturer standard.
1.3.2 Diagnose types of the electrical and electronic cable and terminal
according to manufacturer standard.
1.4 Demonstrate electrical and electronic cable and terminal
1.4.1 Apply standard procedure of using according to job sheet.
1.4.2 Carry out safety procedure according to manual standard.

KEHADIRAN/PERATURAN SEMASA KULIAH ( LECTURE ATTENDANCE / REGULATION ):

1. Pelajar mesti hadir tidak kurang dari 80% masa pertemuan yang ditentukan bagi sesuatu kursus.
Students must attend lectures not less than 80% of the contact hours for every course .

2. Pelajar yang tidak memenuhi perkara (1) di atas tidak dibenarkan menduduki sebarang bentuk penilaian selanjutnya. Markah
sifar (0) akan diberikan kepada pelajar yang gagal memenuhi perkara (1).
Students who do not fulfill (1) will not be allowed to sit for any further examination. Zero mark (0) will be given to students who
fail to comply with (1).

3. Pelajar perlu mengikut dan patuh kepada peraturan berpakaian yang berkuatkuasa dan menjaga disiplin diri masing-masing
untuk mengelakkan dari tindakan tatatertib diambil terhadap pelajar.
Students must obey all rules and regulations and must discipline themselves in order to avoid any disciplinary actions against
them.

4. Pelajar perlu mematuhi peraturan keselamatan semasa proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran.
Student must obey safety regulations during learning and teaching process.
