Caring for Others Is Good to Do

By ALEXANDRA SIFFERLIN

Here in this article it is said that caring isn’t just a commendable thing to do,
Caring goes beyond family and friends. Caring is spontaneous because it is said that
it starts from the day we were born. This is somehow related to Boykins theory
about caring, that it is a lifetime process and constantly unfolding. Which is true.
Developmentally, it is not until early adulthood that we are equipped to fully
empathize, and that might be a generous statement. We learn to empathize
through shared experiences with others, allowing us to move beyond sympathy, or
having concern for the suffering of others, to feeling their pain, sorrow, hardship
and hurt ourselves. We continue this caring concept with our commitment to learning, improving
processes and using evidence-based practice in our experiences. Caring is being compassionate and
supporting people as they go through tough times. Caring is helping others in time of needs. Respecting
people and what matters to hem. Establishing mutual relationship of trust and respect. But for me it is

I personally agree with this article based on Sr. Simone Roach theory that caring is a human node of being.

We are born with in the image of God, which is full of love. Even when we are angry at someone we still
have that soft spot to them because caring is a part of human nature. We all have the ability to
care for others.
I pledge to truly complete care for my patients will that I can. And to make a
difference and to give care that matter to the individual. I pledge to be respectful
and loving to all my patients and not to break their trust.  I pledge to always treat every
patient with kindness, always respect them and keep their dignity. To always listen to them, talk
to them and value them.
