LESSON PLAN IN MTB 1

I. Learning Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:

a. Identify the action words in the story heard;


b. match the picture assembled on its appropriate action word;
c. give the relevance of the lesson in one’s life.

II. Subject Matter

b. Reference: K-12 Curriculum Guide. , Q4 38, pages 1-6
c. Materials: Big book, Word strips, pictures
d. Values Integration: Carefulness/ caution in every act we do.

III. Procedure
A. Awareness
1. Opening Prayer
2. Checking of attendance
3. Review
4. Motivation
The teacher will show pictures of different action words and the pupils will
identify.
The following verbs will be:
 “naglukso”
 “naglangoy”
 “nagkaon”
 “naligo”
5. Unlocking of Difficulties
The teacher will show a picture of pond and frog.

B. Activity
The teacher will read a story to the class entitled “Si Baki Ug si Langaw”
using the big book.

C. Analysis

E. Application
The teacher will divide the class into groups. Each group will choose a
leader. Teacher will give picture puzzles to groups. They will paste their pictures
on the board and write what action word is shown in the picture. They will be
given 5 minutes to finish their work.
