Personality:
Alicia Stark is a bright-eyed and vivacious young woman at first glance, with a quip and a smile
never far from her reach. If you were to delve a little further, you’d discover that she is a woman
possessed of an utterly terrifying and logical mind, capable of tackling any conundrum, code, or
contraption that seeks to foil her service to the Inquisition. Strong-minded and calculating, she
is an immensely talented Interrogator, and Lord Inquisitor Sykes (her mentor) has great things
planned for her future in the Calixian Conclave.
Like her mentor, Stark is a gregarious and engaging presence at any social event,
although she does prefer the company of nobility to the remaining masses of the
Imperium. She is an expert analyst of her social environment, and has a preternatural
ability to sense danger.
Stark met Sykes when he was returning to his home-world on leisurely pursuits as
opposed to Inquisition business. They struck up a conversation in a Spire bar named the
Lord’s Wake, and Sykes was impressed by her intellectual prowess. He offered her the
opportunity to serve with him as his Interrogator, and she accepted. She’s been working
with him ever since.
Stark is still relatively new to the Inquisition, and is having some trouble finding her feet.
While she doesn’t disagree much with her mentor’s philosophy, an independent streak
drives her to forge her own worldview through experience rather than taking Sykes’
philosophy as fact. Sykes is aware of this, and takes care to ensure she does not slide
down the path of Radicalism.
So far, Stark has served the Inquisition without suffering major injury or harm, and she’d
quite like to keep it that way. She’s far too shrewd to throw away her life in a
meaningless last stand, and she is wholly unwilling to sacrifice her health/sanity unless
she absolutely has to. Adversity will show how willing she is to make sacrifices for the
Inquisition.
Stark’s loves and hates are ill-defined as of yet due to her cushy upbringing in the Spire,
but she will learn swiftly who she trusts and who she loathes.
