A- National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) Cairo 1994 to Present

• Research Assistance (1993 to 1998)
Working as a full Prof. in the Networks Planning Dept. (NPD) which involves conducting both of
postgraduate (Diploma) and undergraduate NPD courses, and conducting research in computer
communication networks. Also, I am conducting network Labs (both of data and telephone) and
illustration for NTI training programs for both of national engineers, and international engineers in
cooperation with international agencies such as the Japan International Cooperation Agency
(JICA), International Telecommunication Union (ITU). In addition, we give the consultation for

companies (public and private), such as Telecom Egypt, MobiNil (orange), Vodafone-Egypt,
Etisalat and WE-Telecom Egypt. We prepared a complete report and standardization for the
safety measures for both the Macro, Micro, IR Mobile base stations and Links, which are being
used in Egypt. In addition, Also, I am in charge as the NTI senior manager for the measurement
team and in representing NTI with the National Telecommunication Regulation Authority (NTRA)
concerning the regulation process of the mobile base station.
In addition, conducting courses in the field of wireless networks such as: Cisco WLAN
Fundamentals, cdma2000 Systems, WiMAX Networks, Network Planning, Performance
Evaluation, BTS acceptance and testing techniques, GSM/GPRS/UMTS, 3G, 4G systems and
beyond.
Since 15th June 2008, I am the Head for the Network Planning Department and the Executive
General Manager for the National Project for Auditing the Mobile Base Station.
Also, I was a Board Member of the National Institute of Telecommunications Management Since
2014 till 2018.

Revenue & Profit Performance

 One of the major senior operating executives in the institute. Credited with building NTI from
less than 1 million EGP to to more than 10 million EGP in annual income.
 Designed and implemented customer-driven courses system that resulted in a 25% increase
in annual revenues.

Operations Leadership & Facilities Management

 Led NPD-NTI TEAM through a series of relocations and facility development projects to keep
pace with rapid growth and retain competitive market lead. Coordinated all phases of project
leadership, from initial design and planning through construction oversight and facilities set-
up/operation.
 Led the implementation of operational changes that accommodate new services and/or
technologies.
 Sourced and selected vendors and negotiated purchasing contracts (Technical Aspects) and
leases for warehouse equipment, fire suppression systems, storage systems, and all
technology acquisitions (telecommunications, computers, & networks, etc..).

Administrative and Technology Leadership

 Led Telcomm Research Teams and Professionals through a series of technology design,
development and implementation projects.
 Orchestrated the development of comprehensive, technology-based policy and procedure
system, job description and evaluation system and other applications to enhance internal
