Anna looked in her atlas. Where would
she go today? Well...
2
3
She went to Arizona, to the town of
Bumble Bee. No one lives there now.
So there wasn’t much to see.
4
She went to Colorado, to a town called
Dinosaur. She thought she might see
some. But they don’t live there anymore!
5
Then, she flew to Europe. She wanted to
see France. She saw the Eiffel Tower while
she had the chance.
6
Then, she went to Germany. She had a
super plan! She ate her lunch in Hamburg.
That’s where hamburgers began.
7
Next, she went to Hollypark. It’s in Ireland
near the sea. Then, on to swim in Joppolo,
in southern Italy.
8
The next place would start with a K.
Anna could go to Kenya. So she went
there right away!
9
Then, she went to Lima and Mexicali, too.
On she went to Newcastle. But the castle
wasn’t new!
10
Next, she went to Orange. It was time
to eat! The oranges there were juicy, ripe,
and sweet.
11
Then, she flew to Panama and on
to Pannoomilloo.
12
Quebec, Rome, and Sydney,
plus Timbuktu.
13
In Texas, she found Uncertain. In Turkey,
she went to Van.
14
Can you guess where she went next?
I’m not sure you can.
15
She found a town in Wales. The name
made her cough.
16
This is how you say it:
Sun-bard-for-squin-gis-co-gedeth-where-
and-drobo-santis-teely-yog-go-go-goff.
17
Next, she went to Xia Xian.
Then, the Yellow Sea.
18
Then, at last, to Zambia.
That’s where she found the Z.
19
Anna called to her mom, “You have the
smartest daughter! I’ve just been around
the world. I went in alphabetical order!”
