RESEARCH ABSTRACT

Thesis Title: BSA Students’ Self-Assessment of their Classroom


Communication Skills.

Objective/s of the Study:

The objective of this study is to know the factors that affect accountants’
professional judgment on accounting estimates specifically with inventories
and whether their profiles have significant relationship with their judgments.

Methodology:
Research Approach: Quantitative:
Design: Survey
Instrument: Survey Questionnaire

Respondents’ Profile:
The researchers’ respondents were BS Accountancy students of Rizal
Technological University, Boni. Avenue, Mandaluyong City. These
respondents were described using certain demographic variables as
pertaining to their gender, and year level. There were a total of one hundred
respondents composed of male and female students.

Statistical Treatment: Frequency and Percentage Distribution

Major Findings:

Assessment of individual’s communication skills is essential in improving


their communication ability and academic expression.

Conclusion:

The researcher conclude that communication skills can be learned and


acquired inside and outside of the classroom and can be improved by
observing people who communicate effectively and applying it in real life
scenario.
