Game: Seat the class in a circle on the floor. Choose a volunteer to be the "monster." That student
closes his or her eyes. After the "monster" has his or her eyes closed, choose four more volunteers
to sing one of the four types of voices (speak, whisper, sing, shout) each time the class gets to the
word "brave." (Note: The whole class will sing the song four times, but only one person will sing,
whisper, speak, or shout on the word "brave.") The "monster" is instructed to "wake up" when he or
she hears a shouting voice. They must then guess which of the four volunteers shouted the word
"brave." The volunteer who shouted becomes the new "monster" and the game repeats.
