I am excited to submit my application Junior Site Engineer with Apex Engineering Services. I completed a Civil
Engineering MEng degree at City University, and I aspire for a career in Civil Engineering. I am motivated and driven
to become an expert within civil engineering and I aspire to become Chartered Engineer. I am therefore looking for
an entry to intermediate level long-term position with a company dedicated to open communication, integrity,
accountability, and career growth. My business intelligence and client relationship skills are in addition to my
technical strengths, problem solving skills, and communication skills.

In my current role, I am using the Leica TS06 to complete setting out for the substructure and superstructure works
on the project. I have used it to indicate Foundations, Pile positions, Level, datum and heights, also concrete shutter
lines and slab edges. I am therefore well-grounded in its functionality and I am looking forward to learn more about
it and other similar products, especially the robotic tool stations. This experience has also given me greater
understanding of setting out in relation to the design stage of a project and therefore increased my desire to explore
and learn more about Site engineering. As AES specialise in the use of survey equipment, it is the perfect place for
me to further my career.

Furthermore, I have experience in property management and I developed a lot of skills which I believe will be very
valuable to this role. Namely responsibility, I enjoy taking on responsibility and I am capable of working in a fast
paced environment under pressure. In this role I developed great work ethic and I understand the importance of
working in a team even though I am capable of working individually. Similarly, I benefitted from my time at university
by developing good time keeping skills due to the high number of coursework I submitted in a short period.
University also helped me improve on my AutoCAD skills; I am therefore capable of using it efficiently.

I am interested to work with AES because of their desire to perform beyond expectations and provide a supportive
work environment for their employees along with opportunities to flourish. I am also intrigued be AES’s commitment
to providing full site experience whilst using the Robotic Tool Station (TCRP Leica 1200/TS15/TS12) for the junior Site
Engineer. I desire to work for a vibrant company who values are growth, integrity, and technical excellence as I
pursue to strengthen my experience. Therefore AES is a perfect suit for me. I also look forward to working with your
experts to advance my knowledge and contribute to my continual personal development (CPD) program to gain
chartership. I am a graduate member of the ICE and my top priority is to gain chartership.
