Coach Marsot began as Quincy University’s Women’s and Men’s tennis coach in 2017. He was a PTR
certified instructor from 1987 to 1993 and is a PTR certified Professional from 1993 to present.
Marsot is a longtime physical education teacher and PTR certified tennis coach in Keokuk, Iowa. He served
as the head tennis coach for both girls and boys teams at Keokuk High School from 1988 to 2016. He
coached many players to state qualifications and state finishes. Throughout the years, he coached the boy’s
team players to two Iowa state finishes in 1993: a 3rd place in singles and 2nd place in doubles. He coached
the team to a 5th place in doubles in 2013 and a 4th place in doubles in 2014. Marsot also guided the girl’s
team to a few state finishes, by coaching the team to a 5th place finish in doubles in 1998 and a 6th place
finish in doubles in 1999. He also led both teams to several conference championships. Coach Marsot was
also the Head Tennis Director at Camp Echo Lake, Warrensburg, N.Y. From 2009 to 2015. Marsot has
been married to his wife Laura for 46+ years. He has three children and six grandchildren. His oldest son
attended and played tennis at the Air Force Academy. His two daughters graduated from Q.U. and played
tennis. Coach is still very active playing and teaching as a PTR and PPR Professional.
