UOP invented and developed the Polybed PSA tech-
nology over 30 years ago. Since then, it has become
the leading technology in many industries for many
applications. UOP has delivered over 700 PSA systems
worldwide, processing over 40 types of feedstock.

Over the decades the Polybed PSA technology has

evolved to establish leadership in many gas purification
applications, as shown in the table below.
