pair/partner. They will watch the video clip and answer the guided
questions after the video clip presented.

- Is the variety of life. BIO means “life” and DIVERSITY means “variety”

- SPECIES DIVERSITY
 Refers to the species richness and evenness of the species
abundance.
 SPECIES RICHNESS
o Tells you the number of species in an ecosystem.
o If a community has more species, it is said to be more
diverse.
 EVENNESS OF SPECIES ABUNDANCE
o Refers to the number of individuals of a particular
species in a community.
o If the abundance of species is even, it is more
diverse.
- GENETIC DIVERSITY
 Is the diversity or variability within species, community or
assemblage.
- ECOSYSTEM DIVERSITY
 Is the variety of different ecosystems within an area.
