A. COURSE DESIGN
QUALIFICATION LEVEL : NC II
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to equip the individual the desirable attitudes and skills of
the land transport light vehicle driver in accordance with industry standards, including
the regulatory requirements issued by appropriate regulatory bodies, government
and/or private. It covers the following four core competencies: Carry Out Vehicle
Maintenance and Servicing, Drive Light Vehicles, Obey and Observe Traffic Rules
and Regulations and Implement and Coordinate Accident/Emergency Procedures.
This course is also designed to equip the individual the basic and common
knowledge, skills and attitudes of the land transport light vehicle driver in accordance
with industry standards

MODULE TITLE : MOVING AND POSITIONING VEHICLE
MODULE DESCRIPTOR : This module covers knowledge skills and attitudes
needed to move and position vehicle. This requires
driving, checking vehicle inside and outside of the
work area.
NOMINAL DURATION : 3 hours

MODULE DESCRIPTOR : This module covers calculations and mathematical
problems related to automotive works including
tolerances and measurement, including conversion of
two systems of measurements.

MODULE DESCRIPTION : This module covers the knowledge skills and attitudes
required to drive a light vehicle including handling of
passengers, systematic and efficient control of all
vehicle functions, monitoring of traffic and road
conditions and management of vehicle condition.
NOMINAL DURATION : 30 hours

attitudes required in obeying and observing traffic
rules and regulations while driving light vehicle.
