Hydrogenation of benzene

Main flow sheet;

Mixer-1;
Mixer-1 has three input streams and one outlet stream. Benzene comes from pump outlet (S6),
the other stream (H2) is contains H2 which is impure containing N2 and CH4 less than 1%.third
stream (R) is recycle from the splitter. Input and output stream (mixed) results are show below.

Reactor;
Hot stream at 200c and 21.7 bar comes at the reactor inlet. Hydrogenation takes place here
and cyclohexane is formed .

Cooler results;

Flash;
Splitter and recycle; Splitter will split the top stream into purge and recycle. To save
hydrogen and benzene from going into waste and to purify the product.
