2. K-12 program really helps students to identify what course is the best for them. Because of K to 12
program, students will be able to improve their skills and it will make them more prepared in every
subject areas.
3. The K-12 curriculum might be the biggest change in the Philippines educational system.
4. K to 12 program has its own challenges but the students themselves faces another challenges. So
the focus of this study research is to find out how a grade 12 ABM academic scholar conquered the

VI. Scope and Delimitation
1. The Present study was limited only to eight (8) Students.
2. The Students of the study include both male and female Grade 12 ABM
students Academic Scholar individuals aged 16 to 18 years old.
3. The number of students per gender is not mentioned.
4. Qualitative Research assumed not to hypothesis of the result of the study since it only conceal
a limited no. of students.
5. The students are limited only for the Grade 12 ABM who are present on having a Scholarship.
6. The present spot area in the study is all of the said experiences in University of the East
Manila Campus.
7. Students is only a Scholar in the said grade level.
VII. Methodology
The researchers decided to use a phenomenological approach on the topic.
Phenomenological approaches (Lester, 1999) are based in a paradigm of personal knowledge and
subjectivity, and emphasize the importance of personal perspective and interpretation qualitative
methods such as interviews, discussions and participant observation, and representing it from the
from
perspective of the research participant(s).
VIII. Findings
1. “I think you must focus on your studies and you need to work hard for the things that that you need
to do”
2.“The different insights and realization that i experienced as being scholar its difficult to maintain high
grades you have to challenge your self you have to overcome na challgenes that you have
encountered”.

4.it is an eye opener for the researchers and everyone to strive hard and study even though you are
not a scholar. Everyone should strive hard to enable to face difficulties and meet their dreams
IX. Conclusion
1.The present study sought to document the lived experiences of the Grade 12 ABM Academic
Scholars and how do ABM scholars manage to get through some of their own circumstances.
2.Despite of having problems and struggles, scholars were able to maintain their scholarship and they
were also able to handle the struggles that they were facing.
3. The researcher found out that even scholars encountered difficulties to be able to pursue senior
high school and most especially to be a scholar.
X. Recommendation
1.) Have a enough time to do the research paper
2.) Increase the number of participant or co-researchers.
3.) Have a co-researchers with gender considerations.
4.) Consider the educational level of participant or co-researchers.
5.) Focus only on a specific experience of the Grade 12 ABM scholars student.
6.) Use other creative techniques that will push the participants or co-researchers to share more about
themselves.
