Duco PU Universal Primer Surfacer - Beige
Description
Duco PU Universal epoxy modified Primer Surfacer is a versatile primer cum surfacer that is based on polyester resin
that is cured using HS 750 Urethane curing. This is a recommended primer for direct application on all metal substrate
after necessary pretreatment & FRP.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Composition Polyesterr Resin cured with Urethane hardener containing Zinc

Phophate for improved anti corrosive properties on curing.

Clean the prepared substrate with Duco PU Slow Spirit Wipe to remove grease and dust. Allow to dry for 30 minutes
at 30 Deg C & 60 – 65 % RH.

On the prepared and cleaned surface, apply Duco Epoxy Primer beige. This primer can be also applied using air less
gun at 5 % thinner intake. When this product is applied at 8 thou pressure-using air less guns, a DFT of 80 – 90
microns is achieved in a single coat.

Allow the primer to cure as mentioned in the specifications and dry sand using 320 followed by 400 emery paper prior
to further system applications.

This product can be over coated with any air dried high performance coatings like PU, Epoxy, Chlorinated Rubber, and
Enamels. For better performance a hybrid system consisting of a PU Primer surfacer prior to topcoat application, is
recommended.

 Allow empty containers to dry well and dispose the deformed container as solid waste as per local
regulaltions.
 Do not allow enter waterways or drains.
 Isocyanate hardener containers must be decontaminated prior to final disposal as per guidance in Relevant
Safety Data Sheets
 Always use under proper ventilation.
