Role Play

My presentation is about the role-play of the HR Manager of


Nescafe UK.
The Human Recourse Manager plays a wide range of role in
organisation. HR staff members are advocate for both –
company and people who work for the company.
The HR Manager are responsible for:
- Recruiting and hiring
- Training and coaching
- Organisation development
- Performance management
- Leadership
- Employee relation
In my role-play scenario Mike is a supervisor, Abigail is a
member of his team and Emma is the HR Manager.
Mike and Abigail are in Mike’s office and discuss her
performance plan. He is disappointed about her performance
for the last 3 months. He says that Abigail has been late over
a dozen of times and her co-workers complain that they
often have difficult to communicate with her.
Abigail says to Mike she has a good reason for her absence
and she already provided to the HR Manager a note from her
therapist
