ABSTRACT
Experienced breastfeeding mothers who are not likely to face a minor or major problem in
adapting to attempt breastfeeding. The success or failure of breastfeeding a large part

sampling with purposive sampling The independent variable in this research is the support

Samples in this study were 22 mothers giving birth in puskesmas Senori and taken
according to inclusions criteria. Retrieval of data through questionnaires administered to
the mother postpartum researchers at day 7 to day 14 postpartum. Based on the results of
statistical tests Spearman Rho on research relationship with the husband's support milk
production showed results p = 0.043 , then p < 0.05 then H1 is accepted which means that
there is a sufficient relationship between the husband to support milk production is
indicated by the value of the correlation r = 0.435. Good support provision of her husband
will make higher breestfeeding production in postpartum maternal. Giving husbands
support can be easily selected in treatment to stimulate increased production breast milk.
