With this letter, I wish to express my keen interest in working with Curry Stone Design Collaborative as
a Research Associate, Architect. I am particularly drawn to your organizations because of its focus on
the ‘Social Impact Design’. Having previously worked as Student Researcher for Neighbourhood
Environmental Improvement Plan (NEIP), a pilot project undertaken for Electoral Ward no. 164
(Chunabhatti – L ward) by Shriya Bhatia, Sheema Fatima and Priya Chavan; I have closely seen the
transformative possibilities of such a design approach.

I have worked as a freelancing architect for the last couple of years as a founding partner of Studio
Gestalt. This experience has taught me to be self-motivated and proactive. During this time I have worked
on numerous projects related to Heritage Conservation and Historical antiquities. This includes being a
curator for a book titled “Chronicles of Raste Family of Mehunpura” about the aristocratic family part of
Maratha Empire.

Previously, I have worked with other architecture firms in Mumbai which has given me the requisite
professional experience. I have contributed to residential and institutional architectural projects including
Oswal Hospital, Lonavala and several projects for CCE, Pune. I have also worked on numerous
residential as well as commercial interior projects such as Saviesa Kitchen showrooms in Andheri,
Kandivali and Thane. During this time my duties included design development, presentation drawings,
working drawings, BOQs etc. I was also exposed to client interaction, site visits and co-ordination with
vendors, contractors etc. Through this experience detailed in my resume, I have gained understanding of
building materials and systems, construction administration of different types of projects. I have
experience with a variety of design softwares including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit and Adobe Suite.

I have been part of the architecture fraternity for over six years now. I believe I would bring value addition
