Acknowledgement of

Accepted Evaluation Pending (AEP) Status

By signing and submitting this document, I acknowledge that my application for full
admission to Nexford University (NXU) is not complete, and that I am requesting to be
provisionally admitted to a degree program at NXU. Specifically, I have not submitted one
or more of the following documents for review by NXU Admissions:

• Diploma(s) from school(s) I attended previously (high school, other university, etc.)
• Official transcript(s) from those school(s)
• Evidence of English language proficiency (one of the following):
o Certificate from last school I attended stating that the medium of
instruction was in English
o Certificate of English proficiency recognized by NXU that was issued within
the past 2 years, affirming that I earned at least the minimum qualifying
score (see the University Catalog [page 79] for details)
o EF SET certificate (a free online exam; click here for details)

Until I submit the remaining required documentation, so that my application in full can be
reviewed, I will be registered in NXU under a provisional status: Accepted Evaluation
Pending (AEP).

While on AEP status, I will be entitled to enroll in one (1) NXU course in the degree program
of my choosing, subject to the following restrictions:

• The course must be in a degree program (AAS, BBA, or MBA) for which I am qualified
(as provisionally established by the partial application I have submitted and by
information I provide in this document; and as will be fully established by the
remaining required documentation that I will submit by the deadline noted below).
If the information I provide is determined to be inaccurate or misleading while I am
an AEP learner, the University reserves the right to unenroll me from the course and
place me in a different course, or to nullify my application
• Before the start of the course, I must complete NXU’s Orientation for new learners
with a passing grade, else I will need to take NXU Orientation the following month,
and accordingly delay starting my course until the first of the month after
Orientation

@nexford /nexforduniversity
In order to apply my completed course towards my intended degree program, I must:

• Submit all remaining application materials to NXU within 60 days of my temporary

enrollment to NXU
o I do not need to submit my evidence of English language proficiency if I
successfully complete the course
• Meet the University’s minimum academic requirements for successfully
completing the course

If I do not submit all my remaining application materials to NXU by the day-60 deadline,
then:

• The course I complete will revert from degree- to non-degree status. As such, if I
meet the minimum academic requirements for successfully completing the course,
I will not receive university credit for it, instead, I will receive a certification of
completion. And if I decide to apply for enrollment in an NXU degree program in the
future, and am accepted into the program, then the course I completed while I was
an AEP learner will be evaluated for possible credit towards my degree at that time.

If I fail the course, I can still submit my remaining application materials to NXU. If, upon
evaluation, I am awarded full admission to the University, I will need to retake the course,
per the University’s satisfactory academic standards policy.

@nexford /nexforduniversity
I acknowledge that I am responsible for any costs associated with the submission of my
completed application for review by NXU Admissions, and for the monthly tuition fees that
I must pay in order to enroll as an AEP learner in my course.

I further acknowledge that as an AEP learner, enrolled in a course, I am subject to the same
academic policies as apply to all NXU degree learners. These include, but are not limited
to, the following:

• Courses are designed to run for 54 days

• Each course is divided in 6 modules and a final project, and each module/final
project has a specific deadline
• Learners are required to engage in their course by day 8, else they will be dismissed
from the course
• Learners may request 2 module deadline extensions per course (modules 1-4 only)
• Learners may resubmit module assignments under certain restrictions
• Learners may not resubmit a course final project
• Learners may request an Incomplete in a course under certain restrictions – subject
to review/approval by course professors – which, if granted, has the effect of
extending the course closing date to day 70
• Learners may withdraw from a course up until day 38

(Additional details pertaining to these and other pertinent academic policies are discussed
in Orientation.)

-----------------------------

I have reviewed all the information above and hereby affirm that I wish to be considered for
Accepted Evaluation Pending status.
