ENDLINE ASSESSMENT

ENGLISH FOR ALL


2019-2020

This document outlines instructions for ​filling the tracker​ of Endline Assessments.

Location of the tracker​:

1. Open the ​English for All 2019-2020_Teachers​ folder in your Google Drive, using your Dmart ID.

2. Open your respective ​School Folder​>​Endline Assessment​>​ “School Name”_Endline Assessment

Eg: Sangharsh Nagar>Endline Assessment> Sangharsh Nagar_Endline Assessment 2019-2020

Instructions to enter marks​:


1. The tracker includes 4 tabs, English Medium (MPS+UPS), Marathi medium, Hindi medium, Vernacular
medium (Urdu, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil). Therefore, ​Open the relevant tab to start
entering details.
2. Teacher will enter the following details:
a) Name of the student​: Enter the full name of the student in the format First Name-Middle
Name-Last Name
b) Medium​- If there are options, choose the appropriate option. Else, enter the name of the
medium manually.
c) Year of intervention​: Enter the year of intervention of each student ie. the current year that the
student has been attending an English for All class.
Eg. ​If this is the second year of the student engaged in the EFA program, enter 2.
d) Grade-Section​: Enter the class of the student in the format Grade-Section (eg: 4-A). If there is
no section, enter 4-A.
3. In the ​Common questions column​, the teacher will enter the ​scores obtained in the first five
questions ​that are common across themes.
4. As per the assessment conducted,​ enter the marks of Q6-Q12 in the relevant Theme column.
NOTE: Even If you have jumped themes during the assessment, ​enter the score of all the questions
that were asked to the student.
5. The ​Total score column, under each theme​, will be calculated automatically.
6. The ​Final score of each student​ will be chosen automatically on the basis of the scores in each
theme.

Points to remember​:
1. Please follow the format as prescribed for each column. Refer to the ​Sample Student​ row for better
clarity.
2. If a student is absent, try to conduct his/her assessment on a later day. However, if the student
remains absent till the last date, enter the name but do not enter any marks or remarks.
3. The Total score will be calculated through a formula that multiplies each score into the weightage
mentioned in the top row, therefore do not panic about the numbers that appear in this column.

NOTE TO SUPERVISORS​: Once the trackers are filled by the teacher, kindly verify all of the mentioned data
points and cross check if the details are filled as per this document. Once the process is complete for all
schools, inform the Program Team in your supervisor message.
