Post of Mayor Nelson Legacion:

Totoo asin NAKAKAGADAN an COVID-19!

Joey Bautista, lead singer of the ‘90s band Mulatto came to Legazpi City to perform on March 11, 2020
in a party/concert in La Piazza Hotel.

A Naga-based caterer served the private party/concert bringing along 16 personnel, 6 of whom are
RESIDENTS of Naga while others of adjacent or nearby municipalities.

The Band arrived on March 10, performed on March 11, and departed on March 12.

Bautista was swab tested on March 14, 2020. He died and was cremated on March 19. His wife, Belinda
Bagatsing, confirmed that JB tested positive for COVID-19.

Since yesterday late evening up to very early this morning we have been contact tracing those who
served in the concert. I had already talked to 1 of the 16 by text and messenger. And while we already
obtained the names, we have yet to get and complete their contact details as well as contact all of them.
They are all considered as PUMs and therefore must undergo mandatory quarantine.
