Michael J. Papaik Mathematics Teacher

I am a mathematics educator and ecology researcher/educator focusing on mathematical modeling


of ecosystems.
I have taught or tutored college, high school, middle school and elementary students.
I have successfully completed a nine hour introduction to restorative practices, including affective
language, restorative dialogue, and leading restorative circles.
My ecological research has focused on creating and testing mathematical models of the roles of
diversity and natural and human mitigated disturbance, including climate change, on the stability
and resilience of forested, wetland and upland ecosystems.
