Steps to breaking the game

Breaking the game. (999 quality)

The first time you can start to break the game is when you can craft either of these sets.

 Alchemy Fiber & Natural Cloth

 Zettel and Traveler's Water Orb
 Poison Cube
 Seaweed Soil

These item sets can be used as material to craft another, for example, you can use alchemy fiber to craft natural cloth, and use natural cloth to craft
alchemy fiber and repeat.

You can also just use poison cube to craft poison cube or use seaweed soil to craft seaweed soil.

Quality makes a difference, the higher your quality, the higher the damage you can deal.

You will also need either 3 of these traits.

 Quality (up to 15% MAX)

 Quality+ (up to 30% MAX)
 Quality++ (up to 50% MAX)
 High Quality (10% flat)
  Best Quality (25% flat)

These traits will increase your item's quality, up to the respective percentage.

Quality, Quality+ and Quality++ have levels, each level increases quality by 1%.

So you would ideally want Best Quality, Quality ++ and Quality + to make your life easiest in getting 999 quality.

After having 999 quality, you can use the maxed quality materials to craft other high-quality materials, and into items and types of equipment.

For example,

Natural Fiber > Green Supplement > Bomb/Ice Bomb (For Items)

Natural Fiber > Green Supplement > Zettel > Ingot (For Weapons)

Breaking the game ( When you get the recipe to craft Seeds )

Unlocking the recipe to craft seeds will be your next step in breaking the game further.

The higher your seed's quality, the higher the material's quality you can obtain from seeds, so you'd want your seeds to be as high quality as possible.

As this point, you'd want to craft as many high-quality seeds as possible, if you are able to get a seed with maxed out quality and effects,

keep 1 of it for later.

Tips : You can get the seeds to 999 quality first, and then rebuild the seeds to unlock the rest of their effects.

Breaking the game ( Obtaining Duplicating Machine )

Once you have unlocked duping, it is where you can make your life a lot easier with just duping synthesized materials with maxed qualities.

Although you'd need a ton of gems for duping, you can farm them pretty easily.

Remember to dupe the seeds with 999 qualities and maxed out effects if you have them.

Start to dupe the seeds and plant them, you'll swarm with materials with 'Effect Spead +1', and you need these materials to get best equipment stats,
keep these materials for when you can craft your final tier of equipments.
Breaking the game ( Final )

This is the point where you can truly break the game.

Firstly you will need your alchemy to be at level 99, you can craft philosopher's stone to level up your alchemy to 99, you can add more materials
into an item when you are crafting if your alchemy is at level 99.

Secondly, you'd need to be able to craft these at MAXED Quality. They are listed from most important to least important.

You will use a lot of them.

Farming Gems
Ways to farm gems. (Chopping trees.)

Methods of farming gems are dependent on your basket size.

Assuming you have Gathering Up L on your axe,

If your basket size is S/M/L, it'd be better to just go to Maple Delta, Sweet River and chop down these two trees with a charged attack, turn all the
obtained materials into gems, and repeat.

If your basket size is XL, it'd be better to go to Main Road, Limewick Hill and chop down this tree with charged attack, turn all the materials into
gems, and repeat.

You can charge up your attack as you run, you don't have to stand still to charge up your attack.
Ways to farm gems. (When you can gather Foamy Water from water points.)

Water-gathering location with Foamy Water :

Weissberg Volcano - Iron Race Summit

-Gathering point is near a boss, which won't aggro you.

-Gathering point only have Foamy Water and Clean Water, so you can get more Foamy water in same timeframe compared to the other.

Liese Valley - Valley Path

- No monster near this point, so you can collect water at ease.

- Have 3 types of water, so you get fewer Foamy water in the same timeframe compared to the other.
Method :

1. Craft a 999 quality Zettel with minimum level (9) and synth quantity +1, you can do it using a red supplement at 999 quality.
2. Duplicate the Zettel, it should cost around 1092 gems to duplicate.
3. Craft a Traveler's Water Orb using 1 Zettel and 1 Foamy Water(with value 2), place your quality traits on it.
4. You should get at least 4 Water Orbs per craft, more if you use more Zettels, each orb can be converted to around 2589 gems.

The lower the level of your Zettel, the fewer gems you would need to duplicate it.

Compared to chopping trees with XL basket, this method gives around the same gems per timeframe, but you can also level up your
alchemy in the same timeframe.

Ways to farm gems. (When you can craft Arc en Ciel.)

You can also craft a 999 quality Delphi's Rose Incense with Synth Quantity +2 and use it to craft Arc en Ciel.

You will also need

  Rainbow Gemstone which can be gotten from the Main road using Bomb Rod, or farm using Mystic seeds
 High-quality beehives from Fire seeds.
 High-quality Rosen Leaf from Plant seeds.
 High-quality Golden Crown from Mystic seeds.
 Foamy water (value 3 and above) x2

Higher quality materials can make your life easier at getting 999 quality rose incense.

You will have to build a Delphi rose incense with as low level as possible, so you have to craft from Zettel's recipe.

Zettel > Traveller's Water Orb > Delphi Rose Incense.

Zettel

Scrap paper > Traveler's Water Orb/ Crystal Element (having effect spread here would be good) > Foamy Water ( value 3 )

Traveler's Water Orb

Foamy water (value 3) > Delicious Bait > Rosen Leaf

Delphi Rose Incense

Fill the slots with high-quality beehives, golden crowns, and other materials, fill up more materials with 999 quality if it isn't 999 quality yet.

Rosen leaf, beehives and golden crowns can have effect spread as well since you can get it from seeds.

You should be able to easily get a level 9 Incense with 999 quality with Synth Quantity +2 using quality up traits. Your Rose Incense should cost
around 2.5k gems to duplicate.

Now use 1 Rainbow gemstone and add in other Delphi Rose Incenses to craft Arc en Ciel, then convert those Arc en Ciels to gems.

Which method is best at farming gem before the Philosopher's stone?

The crafting methods have more stuff to do, but you also get alchemy EXP.

You can also just chop trees and ignore crafting methods for now, it is entirely up to you.
Comparing these three methods,

Chopping Trees

 No Preparation
 No Alchemy EXP

Water Orb

 Longer Preparation
 Has Alchemy EXP

Arc en Ciel

 Longest Preparation
 Most Alchemy EXP

Crafting the Philosopher's stone will still give the most alchemy exp.

You can mostly do it with any items which need materials that have Synth Quantity +1/+2.

Ways to farm gems. (When you can craft Philosopher's Stone.)

Craft a red stone with maxed quality and effects and dupe it.

Use the red stone as material to craft the philosopher's stone. You need at least 4 red stones to craft 1 philosopher's stone.

You would get 9 philosopher's stone every time you craft with 4, up to 25 stones if you use 12 red stones to craft it.

Then reduce all the crafted philosopher's stone into gems, and repeat.

Remember to always keep 1 red stone with maxed quality and effects.

Crafting Weapons
By the time you can craft the best equipment and items, you should be able to easily get any materials at 999 quality and maxed out effects.

The ideal traits for weapons are

Set 1

 Skill Charge+ Lv.30

 Skill Charge++ Lv.50
 Super Skill / Quick Arts (Secret Solitary Island DLC)

Consistent damage, no debuffs.

Set 2 (Debuffer)

 Thunder Burn (Debuff : Double Stun damage)

 Icy Echo (Debuff : Slow + Double physical damage)
 Glittering Darkness (Debuff : Double Magical Damage, does not instant kill.)

Set 1 is better if you spam your skills.

Set 2 is better if you just auto attack all the times with minimal skill usage.
Fastest clear :

Give your two AI buddies Set 1, give your controlled character Set 2,

At the start of the boss fight, use Astronomical Clock 2 times to turn your tactics to level 5.

Turn on aggressive mode, just spam normal attack or items, and watch your party demolish the boss.

Use Heroic Geist on boss for best effects.

The next step is depending on whether do you want to min-max the stats.

If you want to min-max the equipment stats, you'd need as many materials with Effect Spread as possible.

You can only get materials with Effect Spread from Seeds.

To craft the equipment with high stats, you'd need to start from the lowest recipe.

For example, to craft Ryza's Celestial Seeker, you start from Handmade Staff.

Effect Spread = ES

Get the material with ES if you want to min-max, else you can just use those without ES.

Materials with ES will help you fill up empty slots next to it, enabling you to have more slots at the end of the craft line.

More Slots = more stats

Use Goldoterion for whatever the material needed shows '(Ingot)' with a bracket.

More Goldoterion = more stats

**When it says 'Recipe has changed, Execute synthesis?', select 'No', and you can continue the synthesis. You must select No.**
Remember to use ingots/cloths/leathers with maxed out effects.

Maxed out effects = more stats

Example, for Ryza's Staff, you will do it like these :

Once you get to Celestial Seeker, you will notice you can add in almost 27-28 materials, add in all 27-28 Goldoterions into the Goldoterion slot and
craft the weapon.

Once you crafted the weapon, go and rebuild your weapon, this time, filling up all the effect slots.

Ignore the Core overflow, devil's pact and Reverse hour hand for now, those are from Item Buff.

You'd also have more stats after item buff.

The rest of the character's weapons are the same.

In order to min-max all character's weapons, you need all materials with maxed effects, and you also need

Cave Coral, any seafood, and any gemstone with Effect Spread.

Remember to rebuild your weapon after crafting, to max out all the effects.

Item Buffing

You need to unlock all 3 slots for reinforcement before doing this.

Assuming you did, craft these three items with 999qualities and maxed out effects and use all three of them to reinforce your weapons.

 Philosopher's Book
 Miracle Ebonyal
 Astronomical Clock

Your weapons will have Core Overflow, Devil's Pact L, and Reverse Hour Hand.

Weapon Forging

Weapon Forging allows you to add any materials on to your weapons using gems to get max stats (999hp, 999atk, 999def, 999 spd).

You can also add desired traits to your finished weapons using item forging instead of squeezing them onto Goldoterion or Eldrocode.

You can duplicate 12 red stones to use it to craft 25 philosopher's stones and use it for Item Forging as well as making more gems for item forging,
remember to always keep at least 1 perfect red stone.
You can use items like Super Steel Gear to max your attack, then use Flour to max speed, then use cloth to max HP and DEF as they are cheaper.

Gem Cost for Item Forging starts at 10,000 gems,

 From 10k gems, it increases by 5k every time until 30k.

 From 30k gems, it increases by 10k every time until 70k
 From 70k gems, it increases by 15k until 100k.
 From 100k, it increases by 50k until 300k.
 From 300k, it increases by 100k until 700k
 From 700k, it increases by 150k until 1million, and cap at 1million gems per item forge.

Crafting Armor and Accessories.

This is assuming you have all synthesized materials at 999 qualities and maxed out effects.

Use item with ES = more slots = more stats

Ideal traits for armor

 HP Charge++ Lv.99 / Glorious Soul( Lent DLC )

o Glorious Soul is obtained from [Dragon of Light Eye], which is dropped from [Dragon of Light], which you have to complete Lent's
extra story to obtain.
o If you are having too much trouble surviving, I suggest using HP Charge++.
 Defense Charge++ Lv.50 / Super Body (Secret Solitary Island DLC)
 Infinite Energy

An easy way is to have your traits on Goldoterion, Eldrocode, and Master Leather and use them when you are crafting the armor and accessories.

You can craft them and make them 999 quality by default first (must be 999 quality without quality trait boost), fill in as many loops as possible,
then rebuild them and add the traits you want inside them, so they'll have 999 quality and the traits you want.

It's easy to get them to 999 quality without quality trait boost if you use lots of Crystal Elements and Philosopher's stone on every loop which they
can be used in.

For Master Leather

 Use Master Leather and Delicious Bait and Blue Flame Ember.
 You can get your traits on Delicious Bait and use it to craft Master Leather.
o Assuming your traits are on Natural Cloth, you can do it like this
 Natural Cloth > Green Supplement (Add Lumber) > Super Pure Water > Red Supplement (Add Fuel) > Flour > Delicious Bait.
o There are many other ways to get the traits you want on Master Leather, you can try to find out which one you'd prefer more.

For Goldoterion

 You only need 1 Goldinite and 3 Philosopher's stone to max out all loops.
o Use Philosopher's stone for every supplement loops.
 You can add traits you want on any supplement, and use them to craft Goldoterion.
o Green Supplement is ideal because you can go from Alchemy Fiber > Natural Cloth > Green Supplement.

For Eldrocode

 You need Heaven's string and 3 Philosopher's stone to max out all loops.
 o Use Philosopher's stone for every supplement loops.
 You can add traits you want on any supplement and use them to craft Eldrocode.
o Green Supplement is ideal because you can go from Alchemy Fiber > Natural Cloth > Green Supplement.

Armour

You start from Leather Protector

Natural Cloth > Eldrocode > Old Knight Emblem > Beastial Air

Radiant Plate (WITH ES)

Stark Cologne

Add in all 34-35 Eldrocode.

Remember to rebuild your armor to max out its effects. Duplicate this armor for every character to wear.

To be able to get every effects, you need

 Beastial Air ( Value 3 ) x2

 Eldrocode ( Value 4 ) x4
 Master Leather ( Value 4 ) x2
 Blue Flame Ember ( Value 6 ) x2

Leave the slots with 'Offense/Support/Defense Lv. +1' to the last, they are not as important.

You should be able to get all effects and almost every 'Offense/Support/Defense' slots.

The stats shown is me going the speed path in the fortress armor route.

Accessories
The most important accessory is the Elixir Ring, then there's another 2 for you to choose from.

 Godspeed Boots (More damage)

Easier to craft but does not add much stats to your character.

Its main purpose is Photon Step which increases speed and reduces skill WT, as well as Enhance Critical damage by 20%.

 Heated Bangle (More defense)

Adds a lot more stats (over 200) to your characters, makes your critical rate to almost guaranteed when combined with other equipment.

Burning Soul(Increases ATK and DEF) only activates when your tactics are level 3 or higher.

Choose Godspeed Boots for now, only use Heated Bangle if you need more survivability if there's a harder boss in the future.

Ideal traits for Accessories :

 Speed Charge++ Lv.50 / Dodge Step (Secret Solitary Island DLC)

Godspeed Boots

Fairy Segment > Sorcery Rose > Add in all 12-13 Master Leathers.

The slots in the top parts all uses master leather, so you should unlock all the top part except gas slot when you place all 12 master leathers.

To be able to fill in almost everything, including all effects, you will need Fairy segment of value 2 and 3, which can be farmed from Mirage Master
in Pynnor Holy Tower's Sanctuary Garden. You will need a maxed out Loupe Compass since value 3's quality needs to be around 145.
Remember to rebuild your item to max out all it's effects.

Heated Bangle

Crafting Battle Items

These are the 5 Items for your end game needs.

 Philosopher's Book (Dmg)

 Eternal Fear (Dmg)
 Heroic Geist (Debuff)
 Astronomical Clock (Buff, increase AP, and greatly forwards to your turn)
 Elixir (Healing and Revive)

Your character needs to have more or equal dexterity to use items of the specific levels.

E.g. If the item level is 40, your character's dexterity must be over 40 to be able to use it.

You must be thinking, how can all your char use these, since these item's level are way too high even for Lila and Lent,

don't worry, follow my guide and at the end, all your characters can use these items, except for Eternal Fear and Philosopher's Book.

These are the Ideal traits for battle items

 Offensive Items ( Deals more damage on a single target, usually boss, note that some items can only be single-target, like Eternal
Fear. )
o Few Bonus ++ Lv. 20
o Few Bonus+ Lv. 15
o Destructive++ Lv.50 / Critical Destruction (Secret Solitary Island DLC)
 Offensive Items ( Deals more damage on Multi Targets, usually groups of monsters. e.g. Philosopher's book.)
o Area Bonus++ Lv.20
o Area Bonus+ Lv.15
o Destructive++ Lv.50 / Critical Destruction (Secret Solitary Island DLC)
  Offensive Items ( In-between, too lazy to make items with separate trait sets )
o Destructive++ Lv.50
o Destructive+ Lv. 30
o Extremely Devastating / Critical Destruction (Secret Solitary Island DLC)
 Healing Items
o Divine Petal
o Flowing Wisdom / Mystic Life ( HP Regen vs Healing more stun value )
o Secret Rainbow

Philosopher's Book

There's no recipe before this.

The trick is to use Elemental Cores with preferably over 900 qualities and effect spread.

Try to fill up all the effects, except for Solflower and Eternal Crystal's.

check that your quality is 999 before crafting, then rebuild and fill in the rest.

Ideally, you should be able to add in 2 golem cores and add in the arc en ciel below, and fill up every other things except for eternal crystal and
solflower's, and still be at 999 quality.

Add in more items with 999 quality until you can't add any more, and see if the final result is 999 quality.

You will end up with Philosopher's Book like this,

Eternal Fear

There's no recipe before this either.

The trick is to use super high-quality element cores, around 800-999 quality, fill up every slot except for these two.

 Crystal Element - lower left

 Eternal Crystal

After that, rebuild this item. then fill up the crystal element and eternal crystal's slot, your Eternal Fear will be around level 40 afterwards.

Remember to check your Eternal Fear's quality before you craft, must be 999, if it's not, use higher quality Fire/lightning cores.

Heroic Geist

There are two uses for this, Stun value breaker and debuffer.

 Stun value breaker

o Destructive++ Lv.50 / Critical Destruction ( Secret Solitary Island DLC )
o Destructive+ / Few Bonus++ / Area Bonus++ (Inbetween, for fighting boss, or for groups of monsters)
o Extremely Devastating / Few Bonus+ / Area Bonus+ (same as above)
 o If you are using this on boss, the Few Bonus++ and Few Bonus+ would be better as they deal around 20 percent more stun
value. (E.g. 'Destructive' set deals 500 stun value, 'Few' set deals 600 stun value)
 Debuffer
o Rapid++ Lv. 30
o Banish All Protection / Banish All Strength (Use the 2nd one if you find that the enemy hit too hard.)
o Banish All Speed

Alchemy Fibers

Cotton Grass > Poison Cube > Kumine Poison

Thorny Embrace

Kumine Poison (value 4)> Taboo Drop > Poison Cube

Poison Smoke

Poison Cube > Taboo Drop > Mist Liquid

Heroic Geist

Fill up all effects, for every gas, use Feather Draft or Mist Liquid, check to see if the quality is 999 before you craft.

You can rebuild the part with Eternal Fire, Old Knight Emblem later. Leave the 'Item Level -10' effect for last.

If you did it right, you can have a Heroic Geist at level 1, which everybody can use, and it hits for over 500 of
monster' stun gauge.

Amatite Ore > Ore > Koberinite

Bronze Eisen

Koberinite > Aqua Ore ( value 3 ) > Cometstone

Staltium

Cometstone > Crystal Element > Degenesis Stone

Criminea

Degenesis Stone > Mordinite > Fuel (value 3) > Arc en Ciel

Astronomical Clock

Now you have a level 4 Astronomical clock, and able to fill up 31 items.

Fill up all the Mystery slot with Philosopher's Stones.

For Blue Magic tool, you'd need Norden Brand, Philosopher's Book or Astronomical Clock at value 5.

Fill up the item with more 999 quality items until you can't fill up any more items, check if it's 999 quality.

If you did everything right, you can have an Astronomical Clock at level 4.

Elixir

If you want a 1 CC Elixir, at the lowest level possible, with no rebuild, you have to have materials with
over 800 qualities.

These are the ones which can have over 800 qualities :

 Golden Crown
 Red Puniball
  Forest Sage
 Serenity Flower
 Dunkelheit
 Ice Core

Restoration Bottle

Healing Chip > Mist Liquid > Red Puniball

Nectar

You can get -2 CC here using Forest Sage and Serenity Flower.

Red Puniball > Philosopher's Stone/Arc en Ciel (ES) > Forest Sage (lower right) > Serenity Flower (upper left) > Dunkelheit

Red Puniball > Spirit Bottle > Dunkelheit

Elixir

Fill up every (elixir) slot with philosopher's stone.

Add in 1 solflower on the left side, then add philosopher's stone on the lower left.

Add in more 999 quality items to make your elixir's quality 999.

Do everything right and you can have elixir at below level 5.
