HACK #1 POST TO LISTS

If you’re not already using Facebook Lists then you are missing out in
a big way, here’s why:

1. You will become more organised


2. You will boost your algorithm
3. You can post to just those people in certain lists.

Lets look into each one of the above points.

1. You will become more organised.

Imagine if all of your prospects had their own separate newsfeed so


you could engage with those friends. That’s what is possible with lists.
You will be able to open up Facebook, select the list, then scroll and
engage with that list which is optimised, showing your prospects/
team members/customers, whichever you decide to choose.

This will stop all the time you are wasting scrolling through Facebook
aimlessly!

2. You will boost your algorithm

Because you will be interacting and engaging more often, you will be
rewarded. Those people will begin to see more of your posts, and most
likely engage with your posts too. Remember, you need to give love,
to get it back. You can create a daily task from this to create a large
following, better engagement on your posts and so more visibility,
which in time, will lead to more conversations inside the messenger
and therefore more sales!

3. You can post to just those people in certain lists

This is a big one!

You might have heard that Facebook only shows your posts to 3-7%
of your entire friends list. Well, if you don’t know what you are doing
you’ll be closer to that 3% number, if you get good, you will be towards
the 7%, and if you follow the Ninja Hacks in this guide you will surpass
that number.

Now, you have set up your lists (click the footer image to get access to
the step by step video guide), but now you can actually post something
that will only be seen by those on that list. Powerful. Why? Because it
wont be 3-7% of that list that see the message, but as close to 100%

as possible. It cant be 100% exactly as some people might not login to


Facebook simply because they are offline for the day or two.

Okay, so you now know WHY its important to do this, but HOW do we
execute on this. Lets get into that!

STEP ONE: Create The List


You must create the list using a desktop, it wont work when using the
app on your smart phone. However, if you can access Facebook from
the browser you should be able to. It is advised to follow the steps
below.
1. Click FRIEND LISTS under the Explore menu on the left side.

2. Click CREATE LIST at the top of the Friend Lists page.

3. Give your list a name using the LIST NAME field, and add any of
your Facebook friends into the list. Then hit CREATE.

4. You will then see all of the selected friends’ posts in one simple
newsfeed. You can add or remove the members by hitting SEE
ALL on the right side.

STEP TWO: Viewing The List On Mobile

Once you have created the list, you can view it from your smart phone.
Just remember, to make changes or add anyone else you will need to
use your desktop.

1. When you are on the newsfeed of the Facebook app, click the 3
horizontal bars icon in the bottom right (it might be different on
an android device).

2. Select the FEEDS option, you might need to scroll down a little
bit to find it.

3. Then select the list that you have already created, in this example
we will select the NINJA HACKERS list.

4. You will then be able to see all of the posts by the “members”
of the list.

STEP THREE: Posting To The List

Now this is the HACK! Once you have created the list, you can actually
post something that will only be seen by the members of the list. This
will be seen by a lot more than the standard 3-7% of your Facebook
friends list when you do a normal post.

1. Go to your PROFILE.

2. Open up a new POST/STATUS and select the button below your


name that should show PUBLIC (it might say FRIENDS, this will
depend on your settings)

3. Select the LIST that you created, you will need to click MORE,
and then SEE ALL (this will appear after clicking MORE)

4. Once you have selected the list you have created you then have
to write your post. You will also see that what was once PUBLIC
(or FRIENDS) will now show the same as the list name, in this
example NINJA HACKERS.

BONUS HACK: Switch To Public Once Posted.

So now you know how to technically hack the algorithm to get more
engagement you will want to switch the post back to PUBLIC so that
everyone can see your new, awesome amount of engagement.

To do that just click on the post where it shows your list name, and
then select PUBLIC.

NOTE: Those in the list wont actually know they are in it, but they will
be able to see under your name the name of the list. So be smart with
your list name choosing.

HACK #2 LOVE THE PROFILE PICTURE

This one is amazing and actually one of my favourite hacks. Here’s why:

1. Absolutely anyone can do it


2. It gives a crazy spike in the algorithm
3. Your new friend will appreciate it
4. It takes less than 5 seconds to do

Okay, so you have a new friend, they have added you, and you have
confirmed the friend request. As soon as you accept, go over to their
profile picture and LOVE it, and if you want to, and have the time,
comment on the profile picture.

Doing this has always strengthened the algorithm between you and
that person. It shows Facebook that you are potentially closer to that
person than others. One of the reasons Facebook was created was so
that you could stay connected with those closest to you.

Once you have accepted the friend request and loved the profile
picture, be sure to then send them a message “Hey NAME, great to be
connected with you here on Facebook! How’s things?”

Follow this very simple process, it works!

HACK #3 LEVERAGING BIRTHDAYS

Without a doubt the most fun hack of them all, and one of my best
ever appointment creators. Combine this with a certain time of the
year, someone’s Birthday, and you will get more conversations going
than ever before. It’s a game changer that’s for sure!

STEP ONE: Install Dubsmash App


You will need to install this special app to use this hack. It is available
in almost every country. If you are unable to install it, then try using
Musicly instead.

1. Search for DUBSMASH in the app store and install it.

STEP TWO: Create A Happy Birthday Video Message

Once this is done, you will be good for an entire year (unless you know
of someone with two birthdays haha). So lets go through how to create
that video.

1. Click the CREATE button in the bottom menu.

2. In the top menu click the BLUE ICON which looks like a
magnifying glass.

3. Search for the song that you want. Try and relate it to their
Birthday as that’s what we will be using it for. In this example
we will be using Stevie Wonders song Happy Birthday. Once you
have found the song, select it. The song will then play, select it
again.

4. Now when you press and hold the white circle button in the
bottom middle, the song will begin to play. All you need to do is
mime the words as the song plays. It should only last less than
10 seconds so give it your all. Get family, pets, and props involved
if you need to!

5. Once you have finished the screen will change and it will play
the video you recorded on repeat. Simply click the green FINISH
button.

6. Click the green DOWNLOAD icon.

7. Then press the green SAVE DUB button across the bottom.

8. You will get a message pop up to say that it is successfully saved


to your camera roll.

STEP THREE: Send Your Message To A Friend


Now here is a big part of the hack. You won’t actually be sending this
message to anyone on their birthdays. Instead you will make note, and
send the video you have saved to them the day after their birthday!

I explain more in the step by step video guide.


1. Go to the Facebook Messenger and open the chat with your
friend who’s birthday it was yesterday. Open up the camera roll
option, and click the video you created. There will be an option
to SEND, hit that.

2. Then write a message to say “Happy Birthday NAME, so sorry


I missed your birthday yesterday, wanted to make it up to you
with this video! Did you have a great day?”

This entire process works so well. Follow it, implement it, and
you’ll be happy you did.

HACK #4 TEXT ONLY POSTS

This is a strange one but it works so well every single time.

If you go and check out my personal profile you will see that I do a lot of
text only posts, but most importantly they are all under 85 characters
in length, and there is a very big reason why I do this…

The post above in just over 24 hours old, 524 likes, 11 shares and there
were over 150 comments (at the time of writing this guide).

You will see that the text is much bolder and bigger than usual. As
soon as you pass the 85 characters mark the font decreases in size.

Facebook love these posts as they use a really small amount of space
on the newsfeed, which allows less time for people to scroll until they
hit a SPONSORED AD where they make money from. Sneaky!

For extra visibility put an emoji at the end of the text, be careful
though, sometimes emojis can be classed as 2 or 3 characters, so
adjust accordingly.

HACK #5
CONQUER YOUR FACEBOOK LIVES FEAR

This one is HUGE as it will help so many people conquer their fear of
going LIVE on Facebook.

I know its hard, I’ve been there. It took me 4 months to do my first live,
then I deleted it, then another 4 months until I gave it another go.

You might be struggling with one of the following things:

1. Worried about your own voice


2. Worried about your own appearance
3. Worried about what your friends and family will think/say
4. Worried that no one will care what you have to say
5. Worried that no one will turn up
6. Worried that you have no idea what to say

We cover a lot of these issues inside of The Ninja Networker, but this is
a hacks guide, so this is what you will do to get over your fears of the
majority of the above.

STEP ONE: Do The Facebook Live


1. Go into the Facebook App on your smart phone (usually better
going Live on your smart phone). By the way, for this example I
am doing it with my phone long ways, but you should always go
live with your phone sideways.

2. See where it says PUBLIC to the right of that there is a little down
arrow, click that.

3. A menu will then appear, and there will be an option to select


ONLY ME. Hit that and click DONE.

4. Now you will see what was once PUBLIC is now showing ONLY
ME. This means that when you go live the only person who will
see the live, will be you.

STEP TWO: Switch To Public


By going live to Only Me you will be able to mess it all up, and just
delete it, no one will have seen it. However, if you absolutely crush it
you will want to switch the settings back to PUBLIC so the whole world
will see it.
1. When you have finished and posted the live you will want to
click the 3 small dots in the top right side of that particular post.
A menu will appear. Click EDIT PRIVACY.going Live on your
smart phone). By the way, for this example I am doing it with my
phone long ways, but you should always go live with your phone
sideways.

2. Select the PUBLIC option, and click DONE.

And there you go!

You will now be able to get over your Facebook Live fears. This is much
better than just recording a video and posting that as Facebook put a
much higher value on Live Video, and so will your audience (trust me,
I have tested that a lot).

HACK #6 COMMENT BUMPING

So you wake up one morning, pick up your phone, and log on to


Facebook, and the first post that appears says “On this day 2 years
ago” and it shows a post you made exactly 2 years ago. The majority of
people share that post.

Well, if you want to do what others don’t, to get what other won’t
here is what you should do in order to get more reach, likeability and
engagement.

1. Go into the menu button on the bottom right of the Facebook


app and select “On this Day”

2. Find the post from 1, 2, 3, 4 or more years ago and click on the
image (as of right now it will only show image or video based
posts).

3. Then be sure to do what others don’t. Like the post and go into
the comments and give it some emojis or write something like
“Wow, cant believe this was X years ago!”

What this does is it bumps the post up to the top of the timeline and
people will see it as if it’s a new post, which means that it will almost
right away already have some engagement. Funny thing is, the post
above was from January 2017, only 1 year on from this post Facebook
has changed a lot, what used to work, doesn’t these days.

Also, a post I did 1 year after the above got over 600 likes, be consistent,
it pays off.

HACK #7 NEW FRIENDS

This is a really great hack to use to boost the Facebook algorithm with
your newest Facebook friends.

So you have just become friends with someone new, you send them
the welcome message discussed earlier, they reply, all is good. Over
the next few days it is extremely important for you to engage with
them as much as possible.

Here is why:

1. Your new friend will love it


2. When you give a lot of love, you tend to receive it
3. Facebook are always watching, they will reward you for this

Instead of having pieces of paper and complex spreadsheets with


information on your newest Facebook friends, simply follow the
instructions below.

1. Go to your personal profile, and go to your Friends list.

2. When on the friends list, select the option in the middle of the
top bar saying RECENT, once selected a list of all your more
recent Facebook friends will appear.

With this simple list you will now be able to go to each of their profile
pages and interact with their most recent posts.

HACK #8 ENGAGE ON STORIES

The 3 remaining hacks are focused on the Facebook Stories feature.


This should NOT be ignored as it will become a huge feature within
Facebook in 2018 and beyond.

The first hack is understanding how the Stories all work. When they
were created Facebook had 2 separate versions (most likely to test
which was best). The first one was on the Messenger, and the second
was on the main Facebook app itself. They eventually combined the
two towards the end of 2017. This meant that if you replied to someone’s
story they would now receive a message from you.

Here is how it works:

1. Go into the Facebook app and onto the newsfeed. At the top
along the top you will see the word STORIES and then usually 6
circles. The first one is for you to add to your story, the second is
your own story (if you have one active at the time), then the next
few will be your friends. Please note that Facebook Lives also
appear in the story, if allowed in your settings, so make sure that
is done for added exposure when you are live.

2. Once you have selected one of the circles, that persons story will
appear, it only lasts a few seconds. At the bottom there will be
a space to write a comment or some standard emojis. If you hit
the emoji you will technically be sending your friend an emoji.

This is an amazing way to spend 2-5 minutes per day basically


interacting with your Facebook friends. Those who are actively
engaging with other peoples stories, as well as posting on their own
story, are seeing a hike in visibility in other posts.

Use the feature, and use it wisely.

HACK #9 APP TO CUT VIDEOS

Continuing with the Facebook Stories feature there is a cool app you
can use where you can create a video, then split it up so it can fit into
the Facebook story. As of right now you are only allowed to post up to
20 seconds at a time onto your story.

Using this app you will be able to record a product demo, comp plan
explanation, your success story, team mates testimonial, parts of
events, anything really, then split the video up into 20 second sections
so it appears as one long video.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Find and install the app called CUT STORY. It will look like this
once opened. Then hit the VIDEO option.

2. Then you will have the option to choose a video from your
camera roll or shoot a video from the app itself. I suggest doing
it normally and selecting from your camera roll.

3. You will then select the video that you did and it will appear on
your screen. Once done, hit save.

4. You will then get options. Your selection will depend on the
social media platform you want to use it for because each one
has different limits (it works for Instagram too).

5. The video will begin to process as soon as you select the option
and save to your camera roll once done. You need to keep the
app open for this to complete. It shouldn’t take long.

When you have done this you can then post the individual videos in
order onto your story. It is a great way to promote your products or
opportunity which should NOT be done with posts on your profile
page, but giving some highlights of what you do is totally cool to do
inside of the Facebook Story.

5. The video will begin to process as soon as you select the option
and save to your camera roll once done. You need to keep the
app open for this to complete. It shouldn’t take long.

HACK #10 BE A LEGEND

I have crushed it by using this app called LEGEND.

When it comes to building a business you have to become a master at


promoting events. The top income earners inside of Network Marketing
tend to be fantastic story tellers, but also incredible at getting people
to events.

Until now you most likely only focused on getting people to local,
regional, national and international events. But now things have
changed and you should also be promoting your own online events in
terms of Facebook Lives.

However, so many people are doing the standard post of “Hey guys, I
will be going live at 9pm tonight, hope to see you there!” or something
similar to that. Instead, using Legend App you can create cool GIFs
which grab attention, mainly because they are in your face, but also
because there is a small number of people using the app!

Let’s set one up for you now:

1. Go to the app store and find the app called LEGEND. The first
page once opened will look like this.

2. The next step is to enter a few words to promote whatever it is


you want try to keep it short though. I have used NINJA HACKS
ARE AMAZING, but you should use the standard template of
“FACEBOOK LIVE @ 9PM” and of course change the time.

3. You will then get some style selections to choose from, all of
them are cool and work.

4. Then you will move on to selecting the colour theme you want.
Find one that stands out, they all do, but maybe you prefer one
colour to the others. After that click the MORE option.

5. You will then be able to save the video to your camera roll.

Once you have this video post it to your Facebook Story. Remember,
these posts last for 24 hours, so if you are going live at 8pm the following
day, try to post the above to your story just after 8pm the day before
for maximum impact.

The above hacks have helped me to grow a huge Facebook following,


get a large amount of engagement on my posts, which in turn has
helped me to build my business.

PAID FACEBOOK STRATEGY

HACK #1: FREE Likes On Your Page

The majority of people who has got a Business Page is only aware of 2
ways to increase the number of Likes on their Page:

1. Invite the existing friends on the Personal Profile to like the


Business Page.
2. Run a Like Campaign.

The first option is good, especially if you just launched your Business
Page, but make sure you ONLY invite the people on your friends list
that you know will be interested in what you’ll be posting on the
Business Page (do not invite family members or close friends only to
increase the number of Likes. What really counts is the engagement
you get on the posts, thus invite only the people that you think will be
the most likely to engage).

The second option is good to reach 100 Likes on the Business Page (if
you haven’t reached 100 by inviting your friends). Once you reach this
number, you can start running Sponsored Posts (aka Ads) to generate

leads for your business opportunity. It is recommended to reach 100


Likes before running an Ad because Facebook want to see that you
are a serious business (there are too many scams out there nowadays)
and also for Social Proof (would you engage with an Ad of a Page that
has only 3 Likes?).

By the way, if you want to know how to effectively run a Like Campaign,

What most people don’t know is that, when you run an Ad, you can
then also increase the number of Likes on your Business Page for
FREE, by using the following Ninja Hack.

Let’s imagine you ran an Ad, and you’ve got people liking, loving,
wowing your Sponsored Post.

If you click on the names of those people (as shown in the screenshot
below):

This window will appear:

And you can then manually invite those people to Like your Business
Page. And you can then manually invite those people to Like your
Business Page. So, not only will you generate leads/prospects from
the Ad, but you will also increase the number of Likes on your Page
for FREE!

HACK #2: “Unpublished or Ghost Posts”

When you decide to run an Ad, you have 2 options to do so:

1. You post something on your Page and then you boost it through
the Ads Manager (if you don’t know how to do this, you can learn
it in this Facebook Ads Course).

2. You create the post directly into the Ads Manager, so this
Sponsored Post will not appear publicly on your Business Page,
but only the people that you decide to target will see the post
(this is called “Unpublished Post” or “Ghost Post”).

This second option is recommended when you’re not sure yet if the
post will get a good response, or if you don’t want to show it publicly
on your Page just yet.

If, after a few days/weeks/months, the Ad is definitely crushing it or


you just want to show the post publicly on your Business Page, there
is a Ninja Hack that will allow you to post it on the Page, with all the
engagement/comments/shares you got, thus with a huge Social Proof.

To do so, click on the dropdown arrow on the top right of your Facebook
home page, and then select “Manage Ads”:

Then click on “Facebook Ads”  “All Tools”  “Page Posts”:

And then “Ads Posts”  Select the Unpublished Ad you’d like to post
publicly on your page  click on “Actions”  “Publish”:

HACK #3: Relevance Score

The Relevance Score is a score on a scale of 1 to 10 that rates an Ad


based on how relevant it is to its target audience.

The relevance score is the synthesis of many metrics: Engagement,


Clicks, Conversions, Click-Through Rate, Negative Reviews…

So, with just one number, you can quickly understand if an Ad will
be a winner or a loser.

The Relevance score has also a direct link with your advertising cost.

When Facebook has to decide which ad to display to a specific user,


they’ll always prefer to display an ad which they consider relevant to
that user. If yours is not, it’ll quickly become very expensive to advertise.

In order to find the Relevance Score, this is the process to follow: first
click on the dropdown arrow on the top right of your Facebook home
page, and then select “Manage Ads”:

Then click on “Facebook Ads”  “All Tools”  “Ads Manager”:

And you’ll be able to see all the different campaigns you’re running.
Then click on the campaign you want to monitor:

And you’ll see all the different Ad Sets belonging to that campaign.
Every Ad Set targets different interests and audiences, so every Ad Set
has its own Relevance Score.

And you’ll be able to see the Relevance Score:

Always aim at a Relevance Score higher than 6 (the higher the better
obviously), so Facebook will “like” to show the post to your target
market and you’ll spend much less on Ads then your competition.

There are 3 ways you can adopt to improve your Relevance Score:

1. Know your target audience and be specific with your Facebook


ad targeting.

2. Use high-quality, relevant ad images and copy.

3. Split test (A|B test) your ads.

HACK #4: Ads Scaling

The big mistake people do when they find an Ad that is performing


well is to edit the budget and increase it by 50%, 100% or even 200%.

This is actually counterproductive, as Facebook is not able to cope


with such a dramatic increase, so your results will actually drop and
your costs will increase.

In order to avoid that, you have 2 different ways to properly scale a


campaign that is working well:

1. Vertical Scaling: increase the budget by 20% every 2 days.

2. Horizontal Scaling: duplicate the Ad Set that and just change


the audience.

To apply the Vertical Scaling, you need to select the Ad Set you want
to increase the budget of, then edit the Budget and increase it by no
more than 20% every 2 days:And you’ll be able to see the Relevance
Score:

To apply the Horizontal Scaling, you need to click on “Duplicate” below


the Ad Set’s name:

Then click on “Edit”:

And then change the audience you were currently targeting (you can
change the custom or lookalike audiences, the generic interests, the
age range, the gender,…).

This will allow you to maintain the current engagement on the post
(Social Proof), and also target a new audience (aka Horizontal Scaling).

HACK #5: Retarget Video Watchers

The best way to build a loyal following on Facebook is to do videos


(either recorded or Live ones).

And if you do a video on your Business Pages, not only will you build a
loyal following of people who know, like and trust you (and are eager to
buy from you), but you will also be able to create a so called “Custom
Audience” of people who watched that video.

This means that Facebook is able to capture how many people


watch a certain percentage of your videos, so that you can then
retarget them in your Ads (and this will allow you to dramatically
reduce the Ad costs and maximize the campaign results).

But how do you create these Custom Audiences? Once you’ve posted
a video on your Business Page, you then have to click on the dropdown
arrow on the top right of your Facebook home page, and then select
“Manage Ads”:

Then click on “Facebook Ads”  “All Tools”  “Audiences”:

Then select “Create Audience”  “Custom Audience”:

As you can see from the image above, you can create 6 different
Custom Audiences related to a video. I’d suggest you create the 50%
watchers one, as it’s the one we personally had the best results with.

You then choose the video (or videos) you’d like to create the Custom
Audience of, give a name to this Audience and Facebook will take
some time to populate this audience:

Now the question is: where do you use the Custom Audience you just
created?

Once the audience has populated, you can then select it in the Ad
creation process through the Ads Manager, as shown in the next
screenshot (for the full step-by-step process, follow the videos here):

Again, this will allow you to target people who already know you, so
you’ll cut down the Ad Costs and also obtain better results than your
competition on Facebook.

HACK #6: Evergreen Campaigns

One of the primary struggles Facebook advertisers face is ad fatigue.

They’ll run a campaign that works great for a while, but then it suddenly
stops working.

The Evergreen Facebook ad campaign is a technique that can help.

An Evergreen campaign has 2 goals:

1. Keep your audience continuously fresh.

2. Warm up your audience (so they start to know, like and trust
you).

An Evergreen campaign can be made of as many steps as you wish,


but a 2-Step Evergreen campaign can already be extremely effective.

This is the recommended structure:

1. Do a video (3-5 min) teaching something valuable to your target


audience (i.e. “3 Tips To ___”, “The n.1 Secret To ___”, How To ___
Without ___”,…).

2. Create a Custom Audience of the people who watched 25% of


the video in the last 3 days.

3. Retarget this Custom Audience with an Image Ad asking people


to send you a message, comment below to know more about
what is it that you do, fill out a survey to talk with you, register
for a FREE Webinar...

This is very similar to the process explained in the Hack #5; the big
difference is that here the Custom Audience refers to the people who
watched the video only in the last 3 days and not 365 days. So, every
single day, this Custom Audience will automatically contain new
people, so it’ll be continuously fresh.

When writing your bio, make sure you include a link to your landing
page, blog, website or anything that is yours so you can control the
message. Give a strong call to action to encourage people to visit the
site. Logan shares more in the video on this.

HACK #2 HASHTAGS

Use hashtags to find your ideal prospect. If you are in the health
and wellness space and want to find customers use #fitness or
#healthyliving.

You will then be able to connect with those you find who are interested
in something that you could potentially excite them with.

HACK #3 POSTS

Be consistent with your posts. If you are going to post quotes,


consistently post quotes. If you are going to use filters, use the same
one time and time again. Don’t mix the message up to much and
build a story with your posts that will cause people to follow along and
return to your profile to see more.

HACK #4 ENGAGE WITH OTHERS

Like Facebook, Instagram has an algorithm and engaging with others


will help you with that. But it is important to engage with others in order
to grow your following. With this growth comes added credibility. Use
the hashtags to find your ideal prospect and spend the time engaging
with them in the comments and in their private message.

It is also very important to give a call to action in your message if you


don’t want to beat around the bush. Something like “Hey I see you
are in the fitness space, DM me!” (DM stands for Direct Message). The
word fitness would be used because you have searched #fitness

Facebook Stories first began on Instagram as Instagram Stories. They


were so successful that Facebook decided to bring the feature over to
their platform, which has also turned into a big success.

Use Instagram Stories like you use Facebook Stories, with time I am
sure you will be able to cross-platform your lives and stories (at the
time of writing this you cannot).

Imagine being able to automate the entire process! You can’t on


Facebook, but you can on Instagram, but only if you know exactly
how. A bunch of incredible marketers actually got together to create
