Writing: This is the day to finish up those Genius Slides. Take another look at the information on Effective Slide Presentations Your slides will have: ● a visual on every slide. ● 3-4 bullet points of information - NO COMPLETE SENTENCES. You will be doing the talking and explaining your short bullet points. ● In general, each slide should only cover the answers you found to one of your questions. This will usually correspond to a paragraph in your essay. Example: How carrier pigeons are trained or how carrier pigeons served as spies during World War II. ● You may use note cards to write your speech for your Genius Talk. Use separate cards for each slide. Sometimes you will need more than one card for a slide. (If you don’t have notecards, you can cut computer paper into four “cards)
