relationship with suppliers & partners to deliver quality & sustainable
procurement outcomes aligned to business strategies. Managed
disputes/contractual issues with suppliers and negotiated outcomes. Handled
activities like Supplier Assessment, New Supplier development,Conducting
Sustainability Audits like ISO 45001.
Responsible for Procurement / Contract with Inland Transport service providers
and CHAs for handling import activities from Mumbai & JNPT ports.

Floating of RFQs/RFIs, Evaluation of Bids to determine overall cost
competitiveness and making sourcing recommendation based on RFQ results.
Managing Negotiation and finalizing PO/Contract Terms /Conditions & Price
and placement of Purchase Order. Act as an Interface between Suppliers &
Internal Stakeholders.
Achievement: Successfully achieved approx8% negotiated savings on total
procurement of around INR 10 cr per Year equated to 5% savings against
budget. Negotiated average delivery time with suppliers to reduce it by almost
30%.
Successfully reduced average lead time in placement of purchase order by
more than 50% within 6 months of taking over purchase group.
