 INTRODUCTION
"Punjab in Figures" is an annual brochure which provides
important statistics in respect of Social, Economic,
Administrative, and Financial aspects of the province at
aggregate as well as sectoral levels. Moreover, it also contains
comparative information on Population, Education, Health &
Labour Force sectors of Pakistan and Punjab province. Key
findings of Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS); Punjab
2017-18, some of key Socio-Economic Indicators are also
included in this edition viz-a-viz Education, Health, Housing
Characteristics, Water & Sanitation, Nutrition, Child
Protection & Reproductive Health HIV/AIDS.

It is hoped; that this handout will cater the needs of Policy

Makers, Planners, Administrators, Academia, Researchers,
Government Departments and other data users in public
as well as private sectors.

The Cooperation extended by various Departments/Agencies/

Organizations for provision of data is gratefully acknowledged.
