Week 3 This week you worked on your production

What practical work have you I have filmed a whole day in London with my artist
done and how helpful was your and planning made it much easier I just followed
earlier planning? the story board saved a lot of time as didn’t have to
think about shots and also already had locations
planned which made it much easier.
How will this be useful as your Nearly half my production complete
production process continues?
Upload your behind the scenes
photos and videos (explain what
they show)
What issues did you encounter I faced 2 problems while filming in London one was
when filming and how did you that my second camera man couldn’t make it so
overcome them? this made it very hard to get different angles and I
ahd much more of a job to do and also the lighting
in the studio and around London was very dark
however I bought a light that I hung from the
stabilizer and seemed to do okay.
What locations did you use and Tweeko studio because its where the song was
why did you choose them? recorded, coming out of a tube station because it’s
a well-known London location, infront of the shard

lighting looked good and why you think that.

Week 4 This week you worked on editing your production

How did you find the editing It took some time but nothing to difficult, it was just
process? motivating myself to go through the all the steps of
laying it out and drafting it a few times before I
started adding effects and everything else.
What new skills did you learn I learnt how to import presets like the vhs look and
when editing? other presets and how to add them to my videos. I
also learnt how to use ‘ VR Chromatic Abberations’
Upload screenshots of the
editing process and discuss why
you made these changes.
What issues did you encounter The only problems I had was the syncing the lyrics
when editing and how did you to the artist in the video, because in London there
overcome them? was a lot of back ground noise and could really hear
the song in the videos so was sometimes quite hard
to sync the two. What I did was take out the parts
of the video where it wasn’t clear enough to see
and just add in the ones that were easier enough
also the lighting was very dim in some shots so I
had to turn up the brightness in editing to see the
shot well enough.
Are you on track for this week? Yes and yes
Did you meet the deadline? If
not, how far behind are you?
What work do you need to Just finishing up editing and effects

Week 5 This week you worked on creating
your site
How did you design your page I designed my page on weebly using
and why? (upload screenshots a template that the website provided called
and discuss) ‘Modern’. I have gone for a black and white only,
website to make it look professional and for it to
look very up to date.
For the home page I have got the ‘Bfree Visuals’
logo at the top in the middle, that I made on the
website ‘Picmonkey’. Then three tabs below in
small text ‘home’, ‘about’ and ‘contact’ still looking
very modern. Underneath is a caption explaining a
bit about the business and what the website is
showing.
Then there are multiple merch designs with the text
and logo on things like phone cases, tops, hoodies
and even skateboards. I also made these designs in
‘Picmonkey’.

How did you use social media to Under the about tab I have put in a title called
help promote your production? ‘Music Videos’ showing the music videos that I have
created, with a hyperlink to the original video that
is on YouTube so that when they see it it on the
website it will also count as a view and also if u
were to click on the video it would take you straight
to the YouTube account.
How effective do you feel your I feel that the website is quite effective as it is very
site is in promoting your work? eye catching with the colour choice and I think the
merch on the front page gives it an extra boost of
keeping the viewers interested and checking out
more of the website and products meaning theres
more chance of them seeing my work.
How does you site compare to The websites I researched were completely
those you previously different to one another, in that one was a channel
researched? that was more like a news page promoting music
videos that the artists had paid for. However the
other one was more of a hyperlink to there youtube
channel, almost in a way they didn’t want people on
their website they wanted them to go straight to
the youtube page. So I decided to kind of do both of
them with the whole advertising my work but also
keeping them involved with the website by using
merch to interest them more.
Are you on track for this week? Yes sir
Did you meet the deadline? If
not, how far behind are you?
