Reasons:
1. Teacher and parents have to educate their children about cheating. For
example, if a child takes a toy from other child without permission, it is steal. It
is a clear example how we teach our students about plagiarism from internet.
For instance, if we take ideas from a text, we have to take the reference and
write the author of the ideas or text.

2. However, if we take information from internet as guide and write our own ideas,
this is not a plagiarism but we have to write the references at the end of the
text.

Support needed:
1. Teachers’ opinions.
2. Students’ opinion and experience with the issue.
3. Teachers’ and experts experience and knowledge about the topic.

Likely objections:
1. Technology doesn´t allow students develop their mind.
2. Students seek information from internet without restriction.
3. The plagiarism should be punishment.

4. Discuss what you did to construct an argument (the words in italics are
examples):

Reasons: I learned about give my point of view about the plagiarism because I
know about the topic; students make plagiarism when we send an investigation
task. However, in my classes I make that they explain their own ideas about the
task and how they did it.

Support: I did my argument using my experience as a teacher and I use

quotations. These help me to explain my point of view.

Objections: I tried to emphasise the different point of view as a teacher and

students because teacher has problem with students about the summary, gives

ideas, supporting ideas. In the actuality, students can´t speak or develop their
abilities to think. Technology is good but parents have to regular the use at home.
However, students think that technology is the best and without it they can´t live. It
is necessary to be cared how students use the technology.
