Dear Gov. Mayam-o,

Greetings!

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) as the foremost humanitarian organization in providing services, will
continuously strive to serve the most vulnerable. With its movement partners and stakeholders, PRC
continuously improves and develops its Water Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector.

PRC is known for its capacity in producing safe and drinking water, sanitation and hygiene services
during emergencies and now an addition to its assets will be handed over to further enhance its capacity
to respond in times of emergencies. Pass It Forward and with the help of the Israel Embassy, donated a
mobile desalination water treatment unit to the Philippine Red Cross. The desalination water treatment
unit can  treat water flow of up to 23 m3 per day from sea water and 92 m3 per day from fresh water. It
can produce up to 10,000 liters of water per day.

It is in my honor to invite you and be one of our esteemed guests for the turn over ceremony of the Gal
Desalination Water Treatment Unit on the 8th of August 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in front of the compound of
the Senate of the Philippines in Pasay City.
