1.2 Overview of the Interface

The Autodesk Revit interface is designed for intuitive and
efficient access to commands and views. It includes the Ribbon,
Quick Access Toolbar, Application Menu, Navigation Bar, and
Status Bar, which are common to most of the Autodesk®
software. It also includes tools that are specific to the Autodesk
Revit software, including the Properties Palette, Project Browser,
and View Control Bar. The interface is shown in Figure 1–6.
