BIOMAS TERRESTRES Y ACUATICOS

BIOMAS TERRESTRES Y ACUATICOS

Hello friends and teacher on this occasion I am pleased to present my model
representing the biomes, in construction as a reference Lake Atitlan in
Panajachel, as we observe around the lake there are three mountains, there
are some houses and of course people , animals both aquatic and terrestrial
that do not include some of these:

Aquatic animals:
   fish

walrus

turtle.
and octopus

Some terrestrial animals:

cow

horse

pork

duck and chicken that are found around the house.

TERRESTRIAL AND AQUATIC BIOMAS

A biome is an ecosystem that extends over any area of land , whether

terrestrial or aquatic . A biome is an ecosystem scale , its climate , plants and
animals are adapted to live together.

                 BIOMAS

The set of all biomes on Earth form the Biosphere .

Terrestrial biomes
Terrestrial biomes are large terrestrial ecosystems determined by
climate . They are classified according to climate and abiotic factors
that constitute it.
Grasslands : They grow herbs or grasses.
Mountains . In these ecosystems , as the temperature drops . Therefore, we find different
animals and plants at different heights.

Temperate forests grow in regions with temperate climate.

tropical forests occur in areas close to the tropics, where rainfall is abundant

Aquatic biomes
The aquatic biome is definitely the biggest ; 75 percent ( 75 % )

of the surface of our planet is under water of the oceans, seas, rivers and
lakes.

 The aquatic biome is divided into two categories: freshwater and

saltwater . These two categories can also be divided into sub -
categories according to the habitats of freshwater and saltwater .

Sub category
The oceanic or pelagic: In these regions the aquatics have adapted to live without light and
be under great pressure .

The littoral or neritic : Characterized by the brightness of its waters, can grow algae ,
molluscs and other organisms that harness sunlight.

Mangroves : are characterized tropical wetlands abound in them used to living trees in the
mangrove mud .
