Labor Demand Analysis

This study is very important in identifying of the industry or companies with regards to

man power requirements for the academe such as this study will help in designing

relevant curriculum particularly in the curriculum of the Senior High School for the K-12

implementation the data gathered from this may serve as a basis for administrators of

schools to plan a viable free service training programs for students and in innovations to

upgrade mode of teaching in the weak areas to strengthen instruction

The findings of this study may provide emperial evidences and information useful to

administratiors, instructors, educational planner, teacher training, institution and policy

makers in improving the quality of education.

In order to produce competent graduates base on the needs of the industries. Moreover

it may offer realistic solution that will meet the needs of the students.

The prospective employers/companies will also be benefited because matching of

the required man power needs will be ensured. Productivity in their operation will be

enhanced if qualified and competent graduates will be hired. Mismatch of graduates to

actual job needs of industries will be minimized if not totally solved since relevant

curriculum will be offered.

For administrators, educational planners and curriculum developers of Higher

Education Institutions, they could gear the development of curriculum and instruction

towards competency-based or process-based. This is to make the learning process and

the curriculum at tuned with industries’ needs and expectations. Furthermore, a

thorough analysis of the labor demand needs may yield guidelines for administrators
and policy makers in formulating realistic policies and developing effective programs,

activities which shall strengthen the foundations of learning and the procurement of

necessary facilities, equipment, and instructional materials.

For students, they will be encouraged to reinforce their understanding of its underlying

principles and to enter the workforce with useful related skills. Thus, increase their

chance to be employed on the right job.

For the researcher, who is also the Director for Alumni and External Affairs, findings of

this research will help her advise graduates and students in the deployment for work

and in building stronger linkage with these companies.

The results of the study may be helpful towards the improvement of curriculum

materials, teaching skills in doing both problem-finding and problem-solving processes.

It may also help them improve their instruction focusing more on the weak areas of

competencies among their students. It may guide them in developing their instructional

objectives and processes, choosing their classroom activities and strategies; and in

using various educational technology in order to facilitate learning among students.
