The&l-* December 2016.

No. Ele. (GP)01/16/ Q IS 0 /SEC - Whereas, the Government of Odisha in the

Panchayati Raj Department have, by order under Section 12 of the Odisha Grama
Panchayat Act, 1964 published in the Official Gazette on 23.12.2016 called upon all the
Gram Panchayats except Dhinkia Gram Panchayat under Ersama Block in Jagatsinghpur
District in the State to elect Ward Members and Sarpanches for the purpose of
constituting the Gram Panchayats;
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under Article 243-K of the
Constitution of India and Rule 13 read with Rule 18,47 8675 of the Odisha Grama
Panchayat Election Rules, 1965 the State Election Commission hereby appoints the
following dates 86 time with respect to the said elections:

The model code of conduct issued by the Commission will remain in force from this
date i.e. 27.12.2016 till21.02.2017 throughout the State.
