A LOCAL LAW

To amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the OSHA
notification act

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

Section 1. Chapter 1 of title 28 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended

to add a new section 28-103.26 to read as follows:

§ 28-103.26. Reporting to the federal occupational safety and health administration. As soon
as practicable after the issuance of (i) an immediately hazardous or major violation of chapter 33
of the New York city building code or (ii) a violation of section 3310.10.2 of the New York city
building code, the commissioner shall report such violation to the federal occupational safety and
health administration.

§ 2. This local law takes effect 120 days after it becomes law.
