    ‘Second Glance at a Jaguar’ by Ted Hughes is a very creative poem talking about the

    power of Jaguar using lots of imagery. The physical features of the creature is well
    described. To understand nature, there must be a deep understanding and
    observation of these wild animals that belong there. With the choice of descriptive
    vocabularies in this poetry, jaguar is viewed to be an aggressive and fierce creature
    representing a “gangster” who is muttering “drum-song of murder”.
