1. 1. SOP for MTech in CTRA My name is sandeep kumar yadav.

I am pursuing
BTech final year in mechanical eng. From CSJM University Kanpur. I want to take
admission in iit bombey with mee in CTRA eng. Mtech depart. I am interested in
CTRA engineering. Please provide me branch of CTRA in MTECH. My decision to
pursue graduate study at CTARA is underscored by my desire to contribute to the
development of rural India as a part of my social responsibility. I have always
considered education and technology as the only thing that can bring a new
phase of development in India. Around 65% of the Indian population lives in rural
India with 60% of the land in India as agricultural land which has a huge potential
for growth and development. Technology can help tap this huge potential. Of
late, rural development has assumed global attention especially among the
developing nations. It has great significance for a country like India where
majority of the population live in rural areas. My interest in technology
blossomed during my high school years. It was the time when technology had
begun to make an impact on the lives of people in India. Hence engineering with
mechanical engineering.in the rural areas there very lack of technology in
agriculture secture.in the rural areas people work hard due deficiency of
technology. I have travelled a lot in rural India during my undergraduate course
where I used to see that the waste the time for plough their field in rural areas lot
of work done manualy if that work done with machine then former lot of problem
get decreases such as man ,mony, time etc . For improving the technology
machine work require to improve.
2. 2. In my baccalaureate program, I learned the broad aspects of T&D engineering,
which started with generous portions of maths and physics and then the
application of the same in T&D specific topics. My undergraduate education has
provide to learn more knowledge about fluid , thermal science, design of
machine, production eng as wll as drafting on paper of any design which is more
suporteble to manufacturing of Machine. Machine is most important thing which
is use to improve the technology in rural areas. I learned broad knowledge about
the machine in machine we study both type IC&EC. In EC we study all type of
machine by which run power plant, lifting machine and automobiles etc. also I
learned broad knowledge about IC engine. In IC I study all type of engine as 2-
stroke, 4-stroke and 6–stroke with diesel and petrol engine. I have lot of
knowledge about my core subject as well as non core . I am completed summer
training from IFFCO Phulpur Allahabad on BOILER up india. By which I get more
knowledge about boiler. Also I study in IFFCO on power plant. I have knowledge
about compressor as well as pump. We are completing the final year project on
waste heat recovery system from domestic refrigerator (WHRS). in this project
we are recover the heat from condenser unit of domestic refrigerator . in which
that recover heat is utilize to heating the food , fast food and water etc. by using
oven . in the refrigerator the heat is get losses from condenser in envoirment we
use the heat exchanger (double pipe heat exchanger) on the condenser unite .
by which we exchang the heat about to 80% and that heat is send to oven. By
using this system in refrigerator work require to run the compressor less than as
compare to bethout using using WHRS system. Because some work done to
warm the things in oven so that overall workdone decrease as compare to that.
Due to low work done coefficient of performance (COP) must be increases.
3. 3. I am also trained on auto cad, catia and all type machining process from CTTC
BHUBENESWAR . I have lot of knowledge on auto cad catia by which we trained
scaching , solid modeling , surface modeling and animation this is powerfull
things for aerospace eng. In all type machining process I trained on conventional
turning, conventional Milling, conventional grinding, reverse engineering as well
 as CNC turning and CNC Milling. I think this is important thing for improve the
technology in rural areas . I was not at all pendulous in choosing this program for
pursuing my graduate studies. I am sure that this graduate program would leave
me well prepared forany postgraduate endeavours, be it academic or corporate.
An advanced degree will not only elevate my career but will also help me to stay
on top of the industry. It is important to be a lifelong learner to succeed in the
field of T&D engineering, which is reaching greater heights every day. I believe
that with my capacity for diligence, commendable logic and commitment to
achieve my goals, I will be able to do very well in this program. I avow that I will
contrive in utilizing the resources available at my disposal. Financial assistance
will give me an enormous morale boost in this long pursuit to achieve academic
excellence and will also bolster my financial needs. I am sure that you will share
my confidence and give me an opportunity to continue with my further studies
and research endeavours at your prestigious university.
