A completely new colour-coating process for PVC-U profiles is the result of three years
collaborative development work between Schüco and a leading manufacturer of automobile
paint. This has produced brilliant metallic shades and an environmentally friendly, resource
conserving manufacturing process that was sponsored by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt
(German Federal Environmental Foundation).

Metallic look on PVC-U – the combination of a brilliant surface finish with the fabrication
benefits of PVC-U. Schüco AutomotiveFinish opens up new, top-quality design opportunities,
both inside and outside. The high-quality coating provides outstanding colourfastness and
weather resistance, which fulfils high technical requirements. Its special feature is that windows,
doors and accessories can be designed tone-on-tone. The range includes 9 metallic colours for
use inside and outside, with different degrees of gloss and textures.
