SOW for Implementation Services

1. This Statement of Work (SoW) describes the work to be undertaken by Network Bulls
Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NBT”) for Vardhman Textiles Ltd. (here in after
referred to as “Customer”).

1 Network Equipment Configuration

1.1.1 Firewall Configuration
Tasks  SOW for Access Switch (Cat 2960X):
 Existing configuration verification of Core switch
 VLAN creation
 Default Gateway configuration
 Routing configuration
 Configuring as a part of stack, if required.
 Trunk and Ether-channel configuration
 SSH configuration
 Username and Password configuration
 RSTP configuration
 Banner configuration

Note: Customer will tell on site as to which devices need to be replaced. All
connectivity is in ring.
Implementatio
n Timelines 5 working days (provided proper downtime window is allotted)

Deliverables  Successful testing and auditing of output expected as per the SoW

Completion This activity will be deemed completed when the above deliverables are
Criteria delivered successfully and the results are submitted to Customer’s Project
Manager or designated location contact.

2 SOW Exclusions
The following items are out of scope of this SoW:
  Supply or installation of any additional of new equipment’s, licenses, upgrades or passive
networking components.
 OS bug fixes and enhancements required for compatibility of existing IT infrastructure
with the proposed platform.
 Upgrade, or replacement of existing network devices to operate satisfactorily in the new
network is beyond the scope of this SoW.
 Any modifications to Customer’s applications to operate correctly in the proposed
network environment.
 Integration of Customer’s devices.
 Coordination of or involvement in any of the IT or physical infrastructure readiness
activities
 Modification in interiors or furnishing of rooms housing VC and presentation systems
other than coordination with Customer’s architects to facilitate timely installation of the
equipment’s
 The supply of any material or the performance of any activity not explicitly included in this
SoW
 No Passive work like cable laying, Patching and Link termination, except for the one
explicitly mentioned in the SoW.

3 Customer Responsibilities
The Customer will be responsible for the following:
3.1 General
1. The actual content of any data file, selection and implementation of controls on its access and
use, backup policy, integrity of data during storage and after backup or restore, and security of
the stored data.
2. The identification of, interpretation of, and compliance with, any applicable laws, regulations and
statutes that affect Customer applications or business. Customer is responsible for determining
that any non-NBT products and their integration are in compliance with national building and
installation codes and other laws and regulations, including product safety regulations.
3. Obtaining any licenses or statutory or regulatory approvals related to any facilities, software,
hardware or other resources that the Customer is providing to NBT in connection with NBT’s
performance of the services under this SoW. NBT will be relieved of its obligations that are
adversely affected by Customer’s failure to promptly obtain such licenses or approvals. Customer
agrees to reimburse NBT for any reasonable costs and other amounts that NBT may incur from
Customer’s failure to obtain these licenses or approvals.
4. Ensuring that any non-Network Solutions supplied products and their integration are in
compliance with national building and installation codes and other laws and regulations, including
product safety regulations.
5. Customer will ensure water and electricity supply at site.
6. Customer will provide all the details like IP Schema, VLANs etc related to the network.

3.2 Project Management and Support

1. Designating a project manager (Customer’s Project Manager) prior to the commencement of the
services to whom all NBT communications may be addressed and who has the authority to act for
Customer in all matters in respect of this SoW.
2. Ensuring the availability of any resource, whether belonging to the Customer’s organization or to
its vendors, if required for the delivery of services under this SoW. In case the delivery of any
service under this SoW is delayed due to the failure of Customer or any of its vendors to provide
 requisite resources, NBT will extend the project implementation duration through a Project
Change Request and the Customer will be responsible for paying NBT for such extended
duration on a pro-rata basis.
3. Providing, if required, inputs on network architecture and security policy, TCP/IP addressing
scheme, VLAN scheme and VLAN routing architecture to be followed for the installation and
configuration of the networking equipment and any documentation for the current network
environment.
4. Providing the requisite security policy for firewall and IPS which need to be implemented.
5. Provide a planned downtime window during implementation if required. There could be loss of
functionality during this period. NBT will give one day notice to Customer for such downtime.
6. Participating in status meetings, interviews, surveys and review sessions with the project team,
as required for the implementation of this project and to rectify any deviations from the project
plan or procedure
7. Providing Site location information (address, site contact, phone numbers, etc.) and installation
priority for all the sites in scope

3.3 Infrastructure and Facilities

1. Completing the required physical site modifications to make it ready for installation of equipment
(as per NBT/OEM pre-installation checklist) at least two days prior to commencement of
implementation services at site. This may include: creating additional power receptacles,
increasing the size of or the addition of any cable trays, raceways, provision of temperature
controlled environment, UPS power, Earth-Neutral voltage of less than 2 volts etc.
2. Making available at no charge to NBT tested and error free WAN or Internet links of sufficient
capacity, if required, at the given sites at the time of implementation.
3. Extending of WAN link up to the network rack and providing modem, Channel Service Unit (CSU)
or Data Service Unit (DSU) if any.
4. Securely storing, and insuring the equipment supplied by NBT and placed in Customer’s
premises prior to installation and handover.
5. Notifying NBT of any potential safety, health or other hazards at the location.
6. Providing suitable and adequate working space, communication facilities, supplies, lockable
storage, and safe, unrestricted access to the all locations where NBT staff needs to work to
render services under this SoW
7. Testing and verifying the existing network environment to ensure that it is free from any defects
before it is integrated with the proposed converged platform.
8. Ensuring that all machine(s) on which any software is to be installed as part of this SoW are free
from any virus or malware infections at all times.
9. Ensuring that any pre-requisite hardware, operating system, related software, patches and drivers
etc. are installed and operational at the required version and maintenance levels, except for those
that have been stated to be provided/installed by NBT in this SoW.
10. Providing training infrastructure including training rooms and projectors.
11. Carrying out physical mounting of wireless access points.
4 Charges
Network Bulls Technologies will charge the Customer as mentioned in the Purchase Order for the
Services to be provided under this SoW. This price does not include taxes, duties and levies as
applicable to the services mentioned in SoW and is additionally payable by Customer. Travel and
Stay charges would be extra as per actual.

5 Proposal Exclusions
This Proposal excludes the following:
 Procurement or supply of hardware, software (including freeware) warranty, maintenance and support services.

 Upgrade of operating system to support new device or product not supplied under the Agreement

 Any training unless specifically covered under an Attached SOW

 Any other task not specified in this proposal or an Attached SOW
