 Patna Medical college Patna has always given a great
importance for physical fitness of students. We have taken
this initiative to organize an inter & intra college sports meet
named as "ATHLON’20". The whole idea of holding this
sports meet is to create a platform for young aspiring
sports person to show their talents and abilities. I appeal to
all the students participate in ATHLON’20 meet in large
numbers and make this meet most successful and
remarkable.
I whole heartily welcome you to campus of Patna medical
college Patna from 10th to 20th Feb 2020 on the occasion
of 95th college Foundation day.

meet 2020 of PATNA MEDICAL COLLEGE,PATNA. I
believe that sports is an essential part of educational life.
Sports promotes the most important blessing i.e our health.
Beyond the health benefits it teaches us about teamwork, how
to get along with others and work together to achieve a
common goal.
To those who are going to compete in the meet, it is the
same words of exhortation as usual. Life as I always say is
also tough and competitive, You need determination when
times are tough.

NOTE:-
1) Inter college sports 2020 will be held by PMCH ptna,from 10th feb to 20th feb.

2) Last date of entry for the event is 10th feb.

3) You are requested to send your entries as earliest as possible.

 EVENTWISE RULES AND REGULATIONS

CRICKET(M)
1. A team consists of maximum 15 players (11+4).
2. It will be a knockout tournament.
3. All the matches will be played as per ICC rules and LBW out will be
there.
4. In any case of dispute, final decision will be of umpire and organising
committee.
5. All matches will be of 14 overs.
6. Each team will have to bring their own playing kit.
7. In case of tie, winner will be decided by super over.

FOOTBALL(M)

1. A team consists of maximum 15 players (11+4).

2. It will be a league cum knockout tournament.
3. Playing kit is compulsory.
4. In case of draw, penalty shootout will be deciding the winner.
5. Matches will be played as per the rules and guidelines followed by FIFA.
6. The decisions of the referees and officials of the ATHLON’20 will be final and
binding on all participants.

VOLLEYBALL(M)

1. A team can consist of maximum 10 players with a combination of playing 6 and 4

extras.
2. It will be a league cum knockout tournament.
3. Matches will be played as per the rules and guide lines followed in FIVB International
Volleyball federation.
4. In case there is dispute between two teams regarding the qualification of one team to
the quarter-finals, Semi-finals or Finals due to equal points, then the team with
maximum wins will be qualified for the next round.
5. During the match, decision of the field referee will be supreme and will be final.
6. The match will be played of 3 set.
 IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Current year I-Cards, must be 6. The decision of the umpires will

produced at the time of
registration and before the
match.
2. Once the team list is
submitted at the time of
registration, no changes will be
allowed.
3. All players should report 30
minutes before the scheduled
time of competition.
4. Misconduct at any point will
result in disqualification of the
college from the tournament.
5. The Matches will be delayed if
necessitated by circumstances.
be final and in case of any
dispute, the captain should
contact the game in-charge or
any member of the organizing
committee.
7. Any changes in the schedule or
the timing of the match will be at
the discretion of the organizers.
8. Rights of any changes are
given to the organizing
committee.
9. The first —aid kit and
ambulance will be provided by us.
Our university and event will not
be responsible for any injuries or
mishaps during the event.

Registration Rules

1. The registration forms in duplicate of all events should be

submitted at one time; multiple entries will not be accepted.
2. Please send the registration forms signed by institute Head/Dean/
Sports Officer of players list with the entry fees.
3. Without the payment of the registration fees your entry will not be
considered
