ARCASIA SPORTS FIESTA 2020

On behalf of ARCASIA (Architects Regional Council Asia), the Sports Committee of the Sri Lanka Institute of
Architects (SLIA) is organizing the inaugural ARCASIA Sports Fiesta in Sri Lanka in February 2020. This is an
annual event which is to be organized coincide with the Architects’ Annual Sessions and Exhibition 2020, and all
participants for this event are architects from Asia region.

The inaugural ARCASIA Sports Fiesta 2020 which spans over 5 – 7 days and planned to have Cricket, Golf and
Badminton. There will be 4 – 6 countries for the cricket tournament (65 - 100 architects), expecting 60 – 75
architects for the badminton tournament and about 60 architects for the golf tournament.

Cricket

The cricket tournament scheduled to be played in Colts Cricket Ground and Burger Recreation Club (BRC)
Ground Colombo.

The format of the game - Preliminary Round – 10 overs

03rd Place & Finals – 20 overs

Team Composition - 16 Players Squad (For the final 11, maximum 02 nos. below 30 y, 6 nos. 30 – 40 y &
Minimum 03 nos. above 40 y)

The Golf Tournament scheduled to be played in Shangri-la Golf Resort & Spa, Hambantota.
