“Enterprise’s logistics channel management ”

General objective: to improve logistic theory usage skills and work out
systematic approach of enterprise logistics channel using logistic
management principles.

Work in groups. Each group has one captain.

1. Logistics process scheme.

a) Each group has to choose an enterprise (manufacturing, trading
etc.) and describe it specialization in details.
b) Create logical scheme in details to characterize chosen enterprise’s
logistic channel operations (from the beginning till finish – closed
cycle), using basic principles of logistics. Draw logistics channel/
flow of the company, in details demonstrating the inner logistics
flow (between departments).
It is necessary to use prepared terminology (appendix 1) to
complete the scheme. Show enterprise’s logistic channel operations
and parts, Connect given words (terminology) between themselves
and show logistics flows, noting its order.
c) Note the order of flows (1,2,3....) from the beginning till finish
d) Prepare oral presentation of the scheme, justify and explain it.

2. Development/ history of logistics within business environment

since 1950.

3. What is the role of logistics for:

a) Hairdressingsaloon;
b) Bank;
