How to write a summary?

First: make sure you understand what you have read or watched (that
means to check the vocabulary and expressions you may not know or that
are new for you).
Second: spot the main idea or ideas
Third: identify the relevant details
Fourth: write the summary using your own words
Fifth: revise and check
