the hipbone at or below the naval. For women, this is above your belly button and below your ribcage.
3. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips with arms raised.
4. Outseam: Measure from the top of the waistband of your pants down the outside of the leg to the ankle bone.
5. Inseam: Measure from the crotch down the inside seam of leg to the ankle bone.
6. Neck Size: Measure around the neck, adding a quarter of an inch for comfort.
7. Sleeve Length: Measure from shoulder to wrist, across a slightly bent arm.

*Please take and record all measurements very carefully. We recommend one person conducts all measurements for
consistency.

The fit of costume pieces is very important to the look of your show and the comfort of your actors. We always aim to send
over pieces that make your actors look and feel great! However, in order to keep our rates as affordable as possible, our
pieces are not custom tailored, so please be aware that some minor alterations may be necessary.

If actors are unsure of their weight, height, dress or pant size, please do not guess or lie about these sizes. Sizing issues can occur
if Ampersand Theatrical Rentals is provided with inaccurate information.
