The site provided is contoured and that is why the focus was
kept to preserve the natural topographical profile of the land.
This is the reason the house designed is raised on columns ;
not only this , the so constructed first floor is also serving as
parking place.

Farmhouse is constructed at
such a place where one feel his
senses in complete contact with
the nature ; hence is built far
from the crowd. Due to this the
user may feel cut-off with the
usual facilities thus sufficient
storage space is provided.

left for farming to fulfill the need
of food. Due to farm , the place

OBJECTIVE :
To uplift the glory of the heart of the Chandigarh – Sector 17.

CONSIDERATION :
Hawkers

DESCRIPTION :
The plaza – Sector 17 , Chandigarh is loaded with numerous
unauthorized hawkers.
We , the people may neglect them for once ; and this is what we do
actually but these
Hawkers are degrading the image of the Plaza in one way or the
other.
But its not their fault even , their intention is just to earn and
banning then wont be the solution as architecture is not just the
construction or designing but our design must not be harsh to the
emotions. Thus , the task chosen was to design a setup which will
not only provide them space for hawking but will also maintain the
glory of the heart of the city.
