Background:
The brand was launched in the year 2000 and it reached the top of the category in
the subsequent three years. It comes with its certificate of authenticity and assured
transparency in the buying process. It is a tribute to the mystery of a woman.
The designs are beautiful and clear, bringing with them, a sense of fulfillment.
The Advertisement:
The layout of the print advertisement is in keeping with the simple yet eye-
catching theme of the brand Nakshatra. The focus begins with the products placed
on the model and then shifts to the brand name and the tag-line and finally ends
with the address of the store. The shine on the ring on top of the brand name is a
point of attention and is reflected diagonally across the print. The background is
slightly hazy and complements the main visuals.
The previous commercials for Nakshatra combined the ideas of the divinity and
power of the stars (Nakshatras) with the beauty and divinity of diamonds. They
achieved this by using first Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and now Katrina Kaif as
their brand ambassadors. This advertisement features the same theme but has
managed to unclutter the space, thereby shifting focus entirely on the product
placement.
