officer, and when he searched under the chocolates, they found out that there was marijuana underneath. They said they could not search the package because there was no search warrant. ISSUE: Could they use the provisions of the Bill of Rights on Search Warrants? HELD: The Supreme Court said NO. It was not a police officer who conducted the search but it was done by a private individual.
