Checking Pol. current

(We check now the built-in polarizer using the diagnosis routines).

Prepare Titrino for the diagnosis procedure:

Switch off mains,
wait for 10 s and then switch on again
depress at once key <9>
(and keep it depressed until the test pattern disappears) diagnose press key 0...9

Remove cables and reconnect sensors.
Please put back to the case the original cables belonging to 767.

Hints for the preparation of the measuring amplifier check

• Place Calibrated Reference on bench near sensor. Ensure that light reaches solar cell without interference (no shadows from
cables or accessories). Switch on room lighting if necessary.
• The electrode cap must not necessarily be firmly screwed onto sockets (4), (5), and (6) of the 767; plugging it in is sufficient.
• Do not unplug any sensor at the measuring input 'Ind'. Unplug any other sensors or interconnections to other instruments.
• The exchange unit does not necessarily need to be mounted, but has no influence to the result.
• Please mind also the introduction to the measuring amplifier check that is to be found in the Metrohm home page, under <sup-
port> <validation and QM> <useful forms> (German and English) <introduction>.

1
Wait until display remains stable.
2
The given permitted difference applies for normal room temperatures (20 - 30 °C) and warmed-up instruments. Alternatively these values can be
determined from the technical specifications of the 767 and the Titrino.
3
If the variation is too large please try exchanging the electrode cable
4
In case that 'error 100' appears then please check if 767 is correctly connected to the socket 'Pol'.
