Fluxoslides type P630

Fluxoslides are used for pneumatic con-

veyance of powdered materials such as
raw meal and cement The Fluxoslide con-
sists of a rectangular duct with two com-
partments separated by means of a poly-
ester diaphragm. Air under pressure is
applied to the lower compartment normally
by a fan. The permeability of the dia-
phragm is 1.5 m3/m2 min., the pressure drop
being 100 mm water column.
The areated material flows like a liquid
at a suitable inclination of the conveyor
(4o-15o) depending on the type of material
conveyed.
Fluxoslides are weather-proof.
They are available with bends up to
90? Distribution gates can be fitted for
double channelling purposes. Fluxoslides
can also be provided with extra outlets.
Position of Fluxoslides in a production line
 Fluxoslides are supplied to any length
provided air is applied at intervals up to
100 m.
Dedusting is effected at points
along the upper compartment.
Fluxoslides provide dust-free
conveyance of materials and the system
requires no maintenance.
Perforated steel reinforcement plates
are used at inlets if materials fall directly
on the diaphragm. When conveying
materials with large abrasive particles,
the upper side of the polyester dia-
phragm should be reinforced with steel
plates in the full length of the conveyer.
Fluxoslides withstand material
temperatures up to 150oC.
The type names (e.g. P 500) given to
Fluxoslides indicate the following:
P means Porous diaphragm and 500 is
the slide width (mm). Fluxoslide principle
